  1. That’s what it is, I’d call it 3/5/2, think it’s been done to swamp midfield and put pressure of Lavia. Stop him, stop Chelsea? šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  2. 1892 is the year Newcastle East End took over the lease of Newcastle West End’s ground at Leazes Park and East End’s name was changed to Newcastle United. West End ceased to exist after that. East End were founded as Stanley FC in Byker in 1881 which would appear to be the true founding date of the club we see today. This has been pointed out a few times recently by people who wish to appear clever on the internet/football history fascists. Don’t particularly remember lots of 1892 tat being produced, only the failed share offer
  3. There’s the survey, then off the back of that there will be 4(?) options to vote on. There will possibly be something vaguely acceptable I suppose, bottom line is it’s happening and there’s no stopping it… I gave all the options 4/10 and left the comment it should be Monty the Magpie smoking a cigar whilst having a bath in the League Cup trophy EDIT: can someone do that on AI?? šŸ™šŸ»
  4. ST holders and members are getting a vote šŸ˜†
  5. It’s changed twice that I can remember and I don’t remember being bothered either way either time….the biggest thing about our kit I remember was something that basically sort of made me go to my first game; pre season 80/81, we were chatting about kits and I said to the village Newcastle fan (something like..) ā€œaye Neil Bukta are fuckin shite min!ā€ ā€œNo we’re Umbro now ya cunt, it’s got a muckle blue star oan it, it’s fuckin aceā€ ā€œOO ya cunt that sounds mad as fuck! Whits the blue star for??ā€ A few months later Neil and his dad took me to my first game so I could see for myself. There’s no doubt in my mind that the first Umbro kit with the S&N blue star is the greatest kit of the early 80s ie when shirt sponsorship first started in England
