sunderland v Newcastle United (a) 21/10/2012
PaddockLad replied to The Fish's topic in Newcastle Forum
Heres the FA guidance for refs: Careless, reckless, using excessive force “Careless” means that the player has shown a lack of attention or consideration when making a challenge or that he acted without precaution. • No further disciplinary sanction is needed if a foul is judged to be careless “Reckless” means that the player has acted with complete disregard to the danger to, or consequences for, his opponent. • A player who plays in a reckless manner must be cautioned “Using excessive force” means that the player has far exceeded the necessary use of force and is in danger of injuring his opponent. • A player who uses excessive force must be sent off So which one of these does Tiote's challenge fall under?.....- 756 replies

This is what I said at the match yesterday...he'd let everything go for both sides up till that point then bang, straight red for what was to all intents and purposes was a mistimed tackle. The picture plainly shows his studs were up, so he's been sent off for that and being Cheick Tiote. So he's now sadly in Cattatwat territory.- 756 replies

Thats the poorest I've seen Johnson...he always looked good for smogs & citeh....not sure if he's been found out a bit or he's been dragged down to the tramps normal level of shiteness. No wonder Trappatoni doesnt pick McLean he's one of these players who looks to be a very good athelete which masks his utter uselessness with a football at his feet. I think 6 Scudettos and a European cup qualifies him as a good judge here, better than any fuckin mackem anyway..- 756 replies

"see thems is fookin mags!!!!" We got a nice "come through lads" from the polite and courteous rozzas who also informed the fucker with the crutch and his wench that they'd blown any chance if getting in the ground at all -

Steve Nichol is a cunt. If we get beat tomorrow and one their players says that what Steven Taylor is quoted as saying in todays mirror motivated them then that will make him one too...whether its true that Adam Johnson would only make our reserves or not you don't say it to a reporter the day before the game...- 756 replies

The 9-1 thing is beyond sad. there's not a mag alive that can remember it though so it hurts about as much as losing a 12th cousin 4 times removed to the bubonic plague in 1373. On the other hand we can remember twatting you 5-1 very clearly indeed- 756 replies

George Osborne has been nicked for travelling with a standard class ticket in a first class carriage this afternoon....just how much is he worth again?....

Naah..the Dutch were just fuckin cowards during the war and (in general) wouldnt stand up to the fritz. Ruud Krol's grandfather Kuqui was one of the very few Dutch resistance heroes. Compared with the Dutch, the French were brave as Lions. Ajax's rise to prominence in the 60s/early 70s was on the back of money earned during the war by Dutch building contractors working for the Hun. The Dutch had a very poor war tbh.

85% of the 80k jews in Amsterdam were arrested by Dutch policemen and transported to concentration camps on Dutch trains driven by Dutch drivers with Dutch guards. In Denmark the locals decided to stick up for the Jews and only 5% were murdered. Now who thinks the Dutch are terrible, horrible collaborating cunts?...anyone?..

Theres a theory that they knew the Lockerbie bombing was coming too....it didnt precpitate a hostile invasion of the middle east, unless Bush senior put Saddam up to invading Kuwait...

I dont think its right, and its not a deterrent (look at the US) and a fit up by the police was certainly common place and happens from time to time now...that bloke they had up for murdering Jill Dando springs to mind, I think they just picked on the local nutter. Throw away the key more often as some have said with harsher conditions.

tbf, it was me that brought it up.

Thats fair enough. The IRA wanted the British state out of Northern Ireland and a united Ireland and the UDA etc wanted Ulster to remain British. The Serbs wanted an ethnically pure Serbia. But for me it amounted to the same thing. A fight for the power to rule.

I can drone on about shit like that for days mate...I try to reign myself in on here, but the mask slips sometimes...

I think you might find it has its roots in the Ottoman Empire.....the orthodox and catholic christians of the Balkans didnt care much for the Moslem Turks.

Not for me. The mindset is the same, the difference is by that stage the conflict had been going for over 30 years and the British crown had enough wherewithall from the word go in the late 60s to largely prevent things getting to the stage where "protected" enclaves had to be set up. Do not doubt that one side wouldve cheerfully wiped the other off the planet in N.I. But as has been pointed out, it was a minority on both sides.

Its not racism, its two different communities fiighting a war for power. Bit like Northern Ireland. Shefki Kuqui's account of what happend to his family is earily similair to what happend in Belfast in the late 60s i.e. families living peacefully in a street as neighbours suddenly turn round and start hating those who were their friends the day before. It was the 20th anniversary of this the other day: http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/oct/15/uk-arms-northern-ireland-loyalist-massacre Whats the difference in the mindset between this and Srebenica? the numbers are irrelevent. That happened in the 1990s too...in the UK.

Yeah you're right, Serbia always supported the Russians,I got that the wrong way round.

The best/your favourite player plying his trade overseas

Thats fuckin ridiculous...a backheeled nutmeg takes two defenders out, he twists another inside-out before feinting the shot to make the keeper look like a pub league player...just to say Brazil are 13th in the fifa rankings -
Fuck me Wykiki thats too depressing for words. Froome did come from nowhere, didnt know about the Tenerife stuff till you posted about it the other day. As you say its all hugely suspicious. If theyre doping it might be something undedectable atm, but it may come out in the future when the testing technology catches up. Hope you're wrong, but it really doesnt look good.

Did the Slovenians collaborate with Hitler too? As for the Croats, they were Stalin's bitches. Nothing new under the sun.....the only thing I found when we played in Belgrade was all the taxi drivers had a pistol tucked into their belts...dont think they had many fares doing a runner as its a Wikl-fest on here today, here's my contribution...after the riot between Dinamo and Red Star in 1990 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinamo_Zagreb%E2%80%93Red_Star_Belgrade_riot these lads http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_Blue_Boys basically became part of the Croatian Army, and the Red Star mob were associated with Arkan http://observer.guardian.co.uk/osm/story/0,,1123137,00.html In other words, they make the Chelsea Headhunters look like boy scouts...
