Well, Ashley, LLambias and Pardew all at St. James today according to twitter so hopefully a good day on the transfer front. Cabayes expected in to sign and attentions will turn away from Gameiro following his announcement last night that its a two horse race between PSV and Valencia. Would like to think the Zog deal gets done and Gervinho gets ruled in or out. Then lets concentrate on a really good proper centre forward. Interesting day hopefully.

He looks a lively player that is always looking for space, keen to get the ball and quick to play it.

Invalid poll You missed off the "Take no action, we like him as he is" option. 23 votes out of 2000 members so it looks like the other option would have won hands down tbf. You need to seek help about this inner seething problem btw......."little man syndrome" springs to mind.

The 2011/12 Premier League fixtures

Prefer the mackems in October so that I have a chance to adjust my expectations accordingly. Having said that was nervous as hell this year and looked what happened. If some of these incomings come off then I would ideally like someone really shit to give a good hammering, settle the players nerves and start the bandwagon rolling. -

Want to get your hands on goalkeeper Steve Harper's gloves? Fabricio Coloccini's boots? Or a shirt worn by winger Jonas Gutierrez? Well now you have the chance, as Newcastle United Foundation plans to raise thousands of pounds for its charity with an exclusive end of season online auction. Supporters can bid for an array of exclusive memorabilia from the 2010/11 campaign, after Newcastle players and management donated match-worn boots, shirts, shorts, training gear and other items from the season, hoping it will prompt an incredible response from fans who want to show their support for the Foundation. Among the items up for grabs is boots, shorts and shirts worn by Jonas Gutierrez, Steve Harper's worn match shirt and gloves, boots worn by Fabricio Coloccini, a DVD of Newcastle's 5-1 thrashing of local rivals Sunderland signed by hat-trick hero Kevin Nolan, and a home shirt signed by the whole squad. The online auction starts today (Thursday, June 9) and runs until mid-July, with new items being added each week. In addition to worn and signed merchandise, look out for unique items from the stadium and pitch such as corner flags and penalty spots. All items will be listed on the Foundation's ebay auction site and every penny raised will go to Newcastle United Foundation (registered charity no. 1124896). Penalty spot
