if they get it right this summer, i'll be the first to admit i was wrong on here and congratulate the board for investing well. really though, they haven't really done anything up until now to convince anyone on here that they will get it right this time. the fuckwit doesn't deserve another chance. most of us are rightly assuming he's going to mess it up again. Personally I dont think anyone needs to admit they were wrong or right. It all boils down to hopes and fears and some have more hope than others and some fear a repeat of the past. Ultimately what will be will be and we will all go on supporting the team.

If it turns out the negotiations did take place today and he has told them no, then he is ITK. Nope, he just spouts everything he hears. I have seen on twitter elsewhere people saying Enrique is due for talks this week. Doesn't make him ITK, just makes him some sad twat who tweets everything he reads but tries to make it out like he is in the know. Sorry like but you are wrong. He said this morning that the talks were taking place today, not "this week". The rule of thumb for me is that if someone says something specific before the event and they are later proved correct then they are ITK. Still not saying he is ITK btw.

I dont disagree but lets face a few truths. Since he turned down the clubs offer in January he has mouthed off in the press, at talk ins and who knows what goes on within the walls of the club. Im sure he's not a shrinking violet. Some give him Kudos for these outbursts, however as a big fan of his, its depressing that he has chosen that path since January. If you or I were Mike Ashley and an employee was doing what he is doing, there is no way we would do anything other than fuck them off. Who knows if a compromise could have been reached. Maybe it could, but it seems pretty clear in hindsight that his outbursts have hastened his departure. What really pisses me off as is evident in this thread, is that he hasnt even come out with shocking anti Ashley stories. He has just sniped about nowt.

Nice avoidance of a very simple point. You replied to me this morning so I simply replied to you. I'll make it as simple as I can. He only started slagging off Ashley AFTER he couldnt get his own way in January. You keep going on about him revealing all this stuff about what goes on at Newcastle, but cant actually detail what great mysteries he has brought into the public domain. Only last week, Joeys agent said ""I must say that, to be fair to Newcastle and the current Board, they stuck by Joey. They stuck by him, there's no doubt about that, Derek Llambias especially." Its all about money, money, money.

I didnt say that though. The observations I read were discussing how Bartons influence while channelled positively is good, however a negative Barton could have an eroding influence. Anyone who thinks Bartons comments at talk ins, in the press and now via twitter are positive for NUFC or assisting his chances of staying at the club, are mad. I love Barton as has been evident over time on here but I certainly dont want a sulky, argumentative Barton hanging around. Needs addressing quickly.
