Leeds next 2 games are Villa and Norwich at home. Win and they go above us. Burnley play Brentford next. Win and they are on 24 points with 2 games in hand. We will be 4 points clear of the drop with Tottenham wolves and Leicester up next. A massive 7 days imo.

So is 433 likely to be our go to formation next year? If so, this is currently our best 11 (imo). This is where, after 14 years, it’s hard to get your head around massive investment, rebuilding and accepting that a good few of these will be bench / squad players next season. My first preference would be to replace Wilson, Fraser, Willock, Dubravka. But won’t we still have plenty of cash leftover Mind boggling.

Im just a worrier I know we’ve been on a good run, but we’ve also come up against a few teams going through bad patches. Our remaining games are all against “decent” teams except Norwich, where the likes of Burnley have 5 games left against bottom 7 teams. My head tells me it will be Norwich, Watford and Everton for the drop. As I said, a worrier.

Not the best example given current events, but currently I’m at Defcon 2, fully prepared to move to Defcon 3 if we beat Southampton. So yes, a Defcon column would be great.
