Sky news currently interviewing posh north east labour card carrying couple, one a school governor, at Donninhton services on their way to Glastonbury. Both think the budget is very good.

Arnt you always.

Given the shameful inheritance left by Labour..... This will probably go down as one of the best budgets in living memory. The blinkered will attack everything whilst not detailing what they would have cut instead. However the nasty Tories..... Lifting the poorest million earners out of income tax Restoring the earnings link to pensions Increasing child tax credit and thats just for starters. Absolutely brilliant given the Labour debt bomb

Followed most of the advice on here. IE copied pictures to computer, deleted off the phone and did a factory restore which updates to os4 Copied music and photos back on and it now syncs and backs up like shit off a stick.

At the moment we have a triple a rating with credit agencies but if anything else bad happens that may change. Otr it may not. Dont confuse me with a Tory I detest the tories more than most but that has a lot to do with being from a mining family. Labour do have to take a huge share of the blame for where we are in relation to cuts and dont think they would not swing the axe too. I didn't think you were a Tory - and as I consider that a grave insult please accept an apology. The credit rating is pretty much what I was referring to - the way the UK's debt is structured compared with other countries is favourable so using a threat to that rating is particularly wrong imo. I'm also not completely exonerating Labour from blame - they have embraced international financial capitalism so have to accept consequences of that approach even if the effects are global. I also accept that the nonchalant approach to the deficit pre-crisis was a bit daft and some cuts were probably inevitible at some stage - savage cuts right now are still wrong imo for the reasons laid out in this thread. 13 years man 13 years

Depends if you consider an extra 11 billion a year pointless.

Would have thought this will be a cert upto 20% Didnt both parties pledge not to increase VAT before the election? It'd be a disastrous decision IMO, which of course means that it'll be certain to be in Gideon's budget. "No plans too........"

And you reckon that most of those who answered one way or the other fully understood the issues? Do they ever. Then why post it? Becuase its a current mori opinion poll!!! Thats like saying "why have an election"....

Do you not think that the drinking just contributes to the sadness? You drink to make yourself feel better, which you may do for a while, then actually realise that you feel worse than you did before. Is it a bereavement that you've gone through? I think with all loss there's a period of mourning (either actual or figurative) before you start to feel more positive. Too true. It does get easier Stevie and the only thing that may help at the moment is concentrating on the good stuff. The happy memories etc rather than the lifes shit thoughts.

My point is why you think we should believe all the political parties are wrong......and your right I've made my points. You seem to agree with most of them.

That "factoid" statement I agree with

Two points. The deficit has been there since 2003, we only entered recession in 2009....Factoid Why is it that every political party in the UK is in favour of cuts, yet you would have us believe that you are right and we have to spend not cut?

The fact that Labour supporters are churning out the "we're not as bad as greece" line tells you all you need to know about this sorry mess. Your lot fucked up, the countrys in the shit. end of really.

Trying to go through the process via Itunes. It seemed to download the file ok to Itunes but then starts the "backing up the phone" bit, which is where its just freezing up.
