Given the shameful inheritance left by Labour..... This will probably go down as one of the best budgets in living memory. The blinkered will attack everything whilst not detailing what they would have cut instead. However the nasty Tories..... Lifting the poorest million earners out of income tax Restoring the earnings link to pensions Increasing child tax credit and thats just for starters. Absolutely brilliant given the Labour debt bomb

Followed most of the advice on here. IE copied pictures to computer, deleted off the phone and did a factory restore which updates to os4 Copied music and photos back on and it now syncs and backs up like shit off a stick.

At the moment we have a triple a rating with credit agencies but if anything else bad happens that may change. Otr it may not. The credit rating is pretty much what I was referring to - the way the UK's debt is structured compared with other countries is favourable so using a threat to that rating is particularly wrong imo. I'm also not completely exonerating Labour from blame - they have embraced international financial capitalism so have to accept consequences of that approach even if the effects are global. I also accept that the nonchalant approach to the deficit pre-crisis was a bit daft and some cuts were probably inevitible at some stage - savage cuts right now are still wrong imo for the reasons laid out in this thread. 13 years man 13 years

Do you not think that the drinking just contributes to the sadness? You drink to make yourself feel better, which you may do for a while, then actually realise that you feel worse than you did before. Is it a bereavement that you've gone through? I think with all loss there's a period of mourning (either actual or figurative) before you start to feel more positive. Too true. It does get easier Stevie and the only thing that may help at the moment is concentrating on the good stuff. The happy memories etc rather than the lifes shit thoughts.
