Excellent, thank you mucho gracias.

This would bother me I think. Can get all the barren landscape stuff up the Northumberland coast.

Trying to eat a bit more healthily and have had some random breakfasts this week. Yesterday was a couple of Smoked Haddock fillets with a couple of slices of lightly buttered brown bread (Sounds very Tory but in reality just the cheap frozen fillets from Asda that take 4 minutes in the microwave). Today, Mashed banana on toast, yum yum!

*cough, ahem, cough* ;) I dont feel too bad because I once gave Ewerk some taxi advice when he visited Penshaw. (Not quite the same, I know)

Was reading about this in the paper yesterday and looks like it could be fun for a few days for those that fancy camping but dont! Apparently they have four sites with the nearest to us being Lancashire or the Scottish Borders. Anyone ever being? http://www.countryhousehideout.co.uk/

Always being a little intrigued by Cornwall but never got their yet and wondering is it worth it? Have a nephew who used to go for the surfing but from a family trip point of view, is it worth the hike. Any recommendations of towns, places etc?

Seems very lenient of the old HM Treasury. So with regard to disposal costs, does that include hips fee, estate agents fee, solicitors fee etc and at which point do you deduct this cost, ie off the total profit. example 100k Profit - minus disposal costs = 95,000 - Tax free allowance (10k approx) = 85,000 to pay tax on

The front or the back one?

iirc the tax follows the legal analysis. So you split it 50/50 between you and the wife. You're each then entitled to offset your annual CGT exemption. You should look into whether you can deduct your acquisition and disposal costs, improvements and indexation allowance from your respective gains. Mr moneybags. I'll check into that, cheers.

Shameful Sat down to watch Sex and the city (1) with the wife. Fifteen minutes went by before I came to my senses.

Happy Birthday. Hope your getting freebies at the Ashley.

Agree with most of this. I'll start by saying I haven't been that "into" england over the last few years. ( think it's an age thing) Considering preMiership best league and all that, I would have thought we would have turned this lot over no bother. But once again it seems to be the same old faces not doing it on the big stage. I think the back four did ok, but the midfield, wingers and forwards were all pretty shit, given their pedigree. Agree with NJS about Heskey and can't quite understand the commentators hard on for him. Overall, utterly boring game of football and seems like the same old England on this showing.

What's everyone doing for the match? Outdoors with a barbie? Pub with the lads? Home with the wife? Working with a dodgy stream? Saw a group of young'uns in the local last night. Had watched the first match and were having food delivered to their table in preperation for the next one and so as not to lose the best seat in the pub by going home. Happy days.

Bored. Scived most of the week thinking I would make it up with some big shifts on Friday and Saturday. Scived again last night and sitting here with hardly any customers out and about. Left with the prospect of no money or no match. Hmmmm?
