Manufacturing quite often does well when the world is growing. The bottom line is the project fear recession never materialised, most big city banks have drastically reduced their forecasts for job losses or the need to move lock stock and barrel and we’re starting to discuss our bespoke deal.

Loads man. Loads of coverage on the good manufacturing news and loads on the Bespoke deal and loads on them starting to come round on the financial services. All positive stuff but do beware the renewed round of willy waving that will accompany round 2. And what do we get from remainers, prayer mats out praying for an economic hammering to thwart Brexit.

Never going to happen. Brexit negotiations going well, Germans falling into line on bespoke deal and financial equivalence for the city. Project fear predictions of immediate recession proved to be lies and Manufacturing growing at fastest rate since the crash. All those wo were cowered into voting remain would break free of the fear and vote leave giving a 65/35 result.

Love Black Mirror except I spent most of episode 1 of the latest season thinking Matt Damon hadn’t half piled the beef on. Few episodes in to Stranger things season 2 and finding it all a bit random and tedious.

Fucking hell As it happens I’m back into soups. Forgot how easy they were to knock up. (4lbs off this week). My current favourite is CT’s Veg 1 sweet potato 1 onion 2 carrots 1 small turnip (apple size). 1000ml of Knorr Chicken Stock 350ml of Knorr veg stock Dash of black pepper. Boil 30 mins and blitz. Everything about this is perfect. Texture, taste, looks good and surprisingly the whole family like it.

13-3 Let the diet begin

Nah, love driving / hate flying. My idea of hell is spending two weeks at a resort in one hotel. Walking dead stuff imo. Looking at a map and just heading off seeing different countries / Regions was amazing. Road trip the yanks call it. But overall, driving abroad is a much more pleasurable experience than driving in the UK.

My Best holiday left home by car with 4 days booked at Lake Garda. Had a week to get there and a week to get back. Every other night was booked on route via laptop.

I have 3 adult and 2 child tickets for tomorrow’s cup match against Luton. I’m 90% certain that due to various winter ailments we will no longer be able to use them. Going to see how everyone wakes up tomorrow morning. If anyone would like them (subject to above), let me know. They would need to be collected from CT Towers in Boldon.

Based on a tiny little island and something like the third biggest employer in the world after the US dept of defence and the Chinese army. Not surprising it comes a bit unstuck at times. Aye, thought that was a bit odd as well. That said I was in Shields A&E yesterday and the place was rammed with very healthy looking people. Nurses and Doctors extremely pissed off with the types of complaints people were turning up with. 7 hours to see a doc, 15 hours for a bed.
