  1. He’s ashamed man for being so out of touch. https://t.co/Ne9DkeipaS
  2. He says quite clearly NOBODY knows how it will work out but it was the right thing to do.
  3. Yes, hence the exact quote taken from his interview.
  4. Interesting that arch remainer Peston today said that “those who voted for Brexit were on the right side of the argument and the right side of history”.
  5. Labour suspend Kelvin Hopkins MP due to allegations.
  6. Point of interest. Appointment of @GavinWilliamson is another state-educated promotion - May's Cabinet has the fewest privately-educated members since Attlee.
  7. Are you questioning why Labour MP’s, whilst investigating one of their own who’s said some pretty vile stuff and investigating why a senior Labour figure discouraged a girl from reporting a rape, arn’t attacking the Tories?
  8. You seem to viewing this as a one party issue. A lot worse allegations out there than kneegate.
  9. The vast majority are behind her til 2019 EU withdrawal. A few who want the crown would like her gone now, but they are even less popular within the party. The ideal situation is a couple of years gives chance for the old guard of ministers to give way to the younger pool of talent from which a leader will emerge.
  10. She’s definitely a lame duck and as I’ve said many times this is a fag end government. It’s really a case of whether she and the government can whether the storm. A good budget and progression on Brexit followed by a major reshuffle would do wonders come January. Can’t see the government being brought down yet though.
  11. She’s got rid of a sleaze ball* and replaced him with one of her closest and most trusted. Far better than a PM letting a minister cling on for dear life. (*seems more could have come out about him).
  12. Shes Prime Minister, it NEVER ends well.
  13. Probably madness. Maybe only applies if you are happy with your lot in life. I’ll try and explain. Its sort of tracking back from where you are now and there being a continuous line leading from the past to today. Had I gone to university I wouldn’t have me the wife I have or have the kids I have etc. I would have a different life and I have no way of knowing how that would have turned out. You could have caught that Ferry to Finland, disembarked and been hit by a car. All alternative possible decisions can not be viewed in isolation but must be viewed through the ripple scenarios. As I said, I guess it depends how you feel about your lot in life as to whether you look at the ripple effect as positive / negative.
  14. Listening to John Mann (who I quite like), there’s going to be quite a few going and a few serious police investigations. (On both sides). Says there’s been a deluge of victims coming forward today.
  15. I would have thought that was more appropriate for TV gameshow contestants.
  16. Yeah, of course that’s what I’m hoping. Tit.
  17. No regrets about anything. I luckily have a ripple effect belief system that doesn’t sit with having regrets. Just a happy bunny. Sorry.
  18. Hope he has more skeletons in his closet as resigning over a bit of drunken knee touching 15 years ago is stupid.
  19. First to resign: Fallon Shame, was always a safe pair of hands (unless you were a woman).
  20. That said, the financial crash made a massive difference. Saved me about £24,000 in payments so far.
  21. The street I live in, 2 houses are rented at £1000 a month where as we pay £200 a month mortgage. Your mortgage payment always gets relatively smaller where as your rent always grows. No brainer if you can get on the ladder.
  22. Youve got years left. I was nearly 40 before I discovered taxi driving.
  23. My last google. Some of Kendal golf course is IN THE NATIONAL FUCKING PARK.
