So having an opinion that differs to yours makes them dickheads? Everyone would love for us to win the cup, that's a given. Getting into the Champions League though would be absolutely massive and would help us bring in better players which in turn will increase the chances of future cup runs in both FA and Carabao. Winning a cup, as nice as it'll be, won't help with any of that and we could struggle next season because of it as I don't expect Liverpool and Chelsea to be languishing mid-table this time next year. Anyway, the next game is, and will always be, the priority.

If we'd already won the cup then fine but that's a big ask the way Man Utd are playing (unless someone levels Rashford between now and next Sunday). I think if we lose to the Dippers tomorrow then that'll be the end of our Champions League aspirations given they're currently 9 points behind us with a game in hand. So I'm going to go against the grain and choose a win tomorrow. Then after that game, I'm going to delete this post and be all-in on the cup! Edit: Plus John Barnes thinks Liverpool can get a win, the dopey fat cunt, so there's that.

Take Bruno out the side and Miggy loses 50% of his effectiveness as no-one else, bar Trippier, has the quick thinking to pick out his runs. Maxi’s done nothing to prove he should be a regular starter. Doesn’t run into space, doesn’t come towards the ball, expects every pass to him to be on a sixpence. Hopefully Eddie will perform some halftime magic and we’ll come out the second half a different side. As a side note, I discovered I’ve been saying Paquetta wrong all these years. Pack-a-ta.
