  1. Then again, if Raylor can work his magic here..
  2. What an absolute pile of pish we are turning into...Really can't see how we are going to score here :\
  3. I have a feeling he will get a second booking during the course of the game.
  4. Butt lucky to get away with just a yellow there. Fucking wanker...
  5. If you are going to try to some special move at free-kicks to beat the offside trap then at least make it work >_>
  6. Blackburn have just gone one-nil up. They have their game in hand on most of the bottom half, so we could really do with a win here.

I've got a new passion. I have taken to sending a message to anyone who quits early because they are losing, or anyone who playes as Man United with Ronaldo up front. Yesterday I got beat by 4 Ronaldo Goals to 2 goals from Lua-Lua and R. Taylor, then messaged the guy with something along the lines of "You would be crap without Ronaldo up front, mate", to which I received the slightly disheartening reply "spake spanish" I found this on Google, BA: http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/fifa-09...ent-glitch.html
  8. I had a dream last night that we went 3-1 down before bringing is back to 3-3 with goals from, urm....Me and David Beckham ... Something tells me my dreams aren't going to mimic reality today, then.

Ah well. Found my new Fifa 09 Hero in Kazenga Lua-Lua now anyway ^^ Was 2-0 down against Villa, and Lua Lua volleyed home to make it 2-1, then in the dieing seconds he broke free to slot it past the keeper, but it antagonisingly hit one post before spinning across to hit the other post and then go away from the goal >_< In the next game I played against Ajax it was 0-0, and in the 90th minute Kazenga got in front of the defender at the front post to head in the winner from a Duff cross

Just had a fucking major glitch >_> Was 0-0 vs. Inter (I was Toon), and took the game into extra time. In the first half of extra time Nolan sets Owen free, and Owen slots it past the 'keeper. "Brilliant!" I think, until the commentator screams "OH ITS AN OWN GOAL!" and game cuts to a video of Owen looking angry with himself for scoring an own goal. I think they have just made a mistake, and that I will get the goal, but despite Inter getting the kick off it is 1-0 them :|
  11. Look how shocked Collocini looks at seeing Viduka move...Probably the first time he has seen it since he joined!
  12. If the talent we have in the youth side now is as good as they tell us, then we should hopefully have a very exciting team in a few years time (Ashleys '5 year plan'? :\ )
  13. So how much will a season ticket be for an 18 year old now then?
  14. Just minutes after watching Mock the Week, I went out of the house to see Frankie Boyle walk straight past me.
  15. Aye, me mum wanted me to ask to go through to get all the autographs but I couldn't think of anything worse/more embarrassing then walking through and being all like "Urm...Hi David and Victoria, much chance of an autograph?". Plus I think the lesser known players might have felt a bit left out if I didn't ask them. Had the same scenario when I met the drummers of RHCP and the Libertines. I got their two autographs, but then felt bad at not getting the two less famous guys as well so I just let them sign it in my pity...heh
  16. Is that Sam's brother like? Ah shit, Sam/Sean, same thing! He still complimented my hairstyle, like! Don't suppose you happen to have a picture of the barnet that Sean found so lovely he felt he had to mention, do you? It was a few years back now. The pictures I do have are in a family album somewhere - I might even scan one in one day! Another good claim to fame is when Steve Harper was in the Reserves playing Bburn reserves in Morecambe. Me and a friend stood behind the goal and started chanting "Harper for England!" to which he turns around and goes "England? I can't even get Number 1 here mate!"....And just look where he is now! Pfft!
  17. A few celebrities have graced where I work...Jim Bowen is a local, and loves the Fish Pie. John Parrott once came in for a meal with his family (one of them might have been Duncan Fergusons bird, actually). Tony Robinson once came in, as well as Gordon Ramsey (although I wasn't working at the time). Plus a few semi-famous food critics as well, I suppose.
