Finished the season in second place - two points behind Man U. Won the FA Cup 2-1 vs. Arsenal and now just going through the World Cup games before my budget is announced!

To be fair the input from my Chairman has gone from 50M to 3.5M to 1.5M Hoping he stumps up some money for the end of the season, though! Third in the league atm with a game in hand on Arsenal who are 2 points ahead of me. Only 5 games to go now! Frederico Laurito is in fine form and is second in the goals scored in the Premiership, and in 27 starts has 22 goals.

My only reasons for being hopeful thus far is an easy season with Newcastle in the Championship on Football Manager '

Got back from work late last night and all I wanted to do was pwn some nubz on Fifa but couldn't Played some Assasains Creed just to see what it looked like on HD but then got bored. Might go to Fallout Three but I'm stuck on some bit where there are loads of massive elk like things and I'm practically a sitting duck! Odd...I swear I just played a ranked match against someone with a modified Chelsea team :| Mainly because I don't know how to play an unranked match, but I swear I went through my usual way to get online and clicked on a "Quick Ranked Match". Right from the start I notice he has Ronaldo, Messi, Kaka e.t.c so I think I've chosen an unranked match by mistake, but after I thrash him 5-2 anyway I try and find out where you play an unranked match and I can't even find it despite looking for the bloody thing :\

Finally got taken over by that consortium. Got a ton of money to spend now but I'm in the last week of the transfer window because the bloody embargo stayed even when the new board were in >_>

Guthrie was one of my top players in the Championship. Vela was my overall top goalscorer/top assist maker/top rated player, and I have managed to snap him up for the £5 Million agreed at the start of the loan! Had to wait til I had secured promotion til he would sign the contract but I wasn't complaining! Slightly overspent so the club are currently in the red, but I have just got this message: Game on!

Got Nolan, Ameobi and Xisco on their way in January (Xisco for £6.5 Million, which was nice). Bringing in Lloyd James from Southampton, Fausto Rossi from Juve, Frederico Laurito from Udinese and I have bids accepted and contracts on the table for Danny Rose from Spurs and Ever Banega from Valencia. Spurs are also interested in Banega so he will probably go there, but I'm hoping that he decides to come play for me instead! If you can't tell, I'm trying to build up a strong young team that will come good just as I move up into the Premiership. If I do get promoted (which is nearly a certainty) then I might have to bring in a few more experienced heads around the age of 24-25 just to make sure I have the quality there that is already quality! The worse players are the ones that beat you 4-0, accept a rematch, go down 3-0 in 20 minutes and then quit. If you have the decency to stay for the game where you get thrashed then they could at least do the same.

Only 9 games into this (I don't play much and when I do I take my time!) and have a nice 6 point gap from second place so sitting nice at the top of the Championship. Trying to blood in my purchases which include Lallana and Thompson from Southampton (both have good potential according to scouts) and a guy called Paulo Henrique who can supposedly become better than Vela will. Changed around the whole Newcastle philosophy and am winning games by 1 or 2-0 without conceding. Only conceded goals in two of my nine games, but conceded none since switching to a new tactic.

I played some American the other day who switched sides when he saw I was Newcastle from some 4 Star team (which would have been a nice equal game) to a 5 star one. I decided to go as Villa and was 3-0 up within about 20 minutes. The guy had his mic on and was giving out "Oh my god this is such bullshit!" and "Oh my god come on ref!" lines and then he finally quit. I sent him the usual "quitting cunt" message and got a voice mail back like "Three goals in 20 minutes! That is just bullshit! You are bullshit!". >_<
