Hmm...But David Moyes doesn't strike me as the type who would take someone like Owen.

I'm going to say Portsmouth. They don't mind the odd older player. Either that or he does a Fowler and returns to 'Pool...

Wouldn't mind us building up a team with the likes of Vuicknic, Ranger, Lua-Lua, Krul, Tozer e.t.c. Hopefully Ashley doesn't seem them as a bit of potential cash, though...Hell, if they do come good he can even roll out some bullshit about them being Wise's signings, thus proving himself right...

Which ever cunt it was rattling on about how we would be fine if we had given Fat Sam a chance really boiled my balls. It was one of them commentator on SS. What a bastard. I am sort of looking forward to the Championship. As has been said; if we have a good summer of transfer activity and get some players who really want to play for the club then I think we can do it. Our problem at the moment is the age of our team, and the fact that many of them are overpaid hangers on who really aren't up to playing at the level we need them to play at. I'm hoping some of the youngsters get a chance and we put together the right mix of young and not-so-young to get a great little team who play with a bit of style. Lets see the entertainers again...again...

I'm quite looking forward to it tbh.

Online players took on a whole new level of annoyingness today. Played some American who in the whole build up was saying things like "You're going down!" and other random crap like that. I was England and he was Portugal, and within 12 minutes I was 3-0 up. He pauses the game and I turn on my mic to ask if he is going to quit. He replies "Wanker" and then goes and quit. People shouldn't talk the talk if they aren't going to walk the walk.

A friend on Facebook has actually broken through the crowds to leave this message as his status: "...Is going to miss Newcastle from the top flight next season. And to the pathetic football fans who think writing shit about them is big, its not. Never nice to see such a big passionate club go down." Think he is either a United or Liverpool fan, but it is nice to see he can see the light a bit more than those "LOLOLOLOLOL" guys.

Totally deserved. If no one is going to show some fucking effort then I really don't think we deserve to stay in this division. Lets get rid of the wasters, get Shearer to stay on and rebuild this club to what it should be. I'm off for a walk in the park in a moment, and will probably be showing more effort in my lacksidasical strides than what any of them players did today. We will be back, and it will be better than ever. Away days at Preston next year which is nice and close - give us a nudge with any plans for peoples trip to Deepdale!

Hmm. Safe to say I read the title of this thread wrong.

I will have to escape! No one will catch me in my....... ... 1.1 Peugeot 106

While we are being all superstitious - I nearly hit (and may have actually hit it) a Magpie that swooped down in front of my car the other day (at least I think it was a Magpie!). With 1 being for sorrow, does that mean I have metaphorically crushed sorrow? Or will sorrow now come back to haunt me?

Fucking hell this weekend just turned a whole lot more coincidental. I've already mentioned it was going to be an emotional one with me leaving school on the Friday and then watching Newcastle try and avoid relegation on the Sunday, and then this poem goes and pops up. Only about 5 hours ago was I in our School Hall watching our specially arranged Leavers Assembly when this exact poem was read out by our student appointed heads. Yeah, I understand that this is a famous poem that fits well with both events, but nonetheless it seems a little odd that this would happen in such a way... If it makes anyone feel any better, there were none of the tears I expected there to be today, possibly meaning there will be none on Sunday? That either means I will be celebrating us staying up, or that I will be too drunk to care as the Referee blows for full time.

In some Pub somewhere in the North West, if I don't feel like I will be embarrassed by crying in front of all the regulars! Failing that, I might lock myself in my room and watch it from there...Might need to have a sofa to hide behind though, because it will be one hell of a scary game..

The Faye equaliser as well as the Bramble one vs. Wigan (I think) cost us 6 valuable points. We would kill for them now, and it would have to be two of our old defenders who denied us them.
-
This will be the final moment in what is an emotional weekend for me. Finally leave school after 14 Years on Friday, and then have the school ball, and then when I've recovered from the hangover I will be there with the box of tissues ready again to watch and see if my team are going to get relegated. Bloomin' heck.
-
You think he will bring some back for the fans after Sunday?
-
Just for a second there I though the Kevin Nolan fan boys had arrived.
-
With West Brom relegated and us near certainly finishing above them I win £10 from a beginning of season bet I had with the boss from work. Not going to lie. At the beginning of the season I thought it would be a much more comfortable margin between us...

Isn't Vuicknic (sp?) in some fine form for the reserves and youth teams?
-
There's some Squirrels in Norway that want their tails back.

THIS. It wasn't the Ref's fault that our players don't give a damn. He got the red card spot on and Nolan was blocking off Schwarzar. Wasn't blocking him off as much as any other player does in this league. Did you see the Blackburn game the other week? Samba practically rugby tackled the keeper and the goal still stood.
-
What a piss take. Howard fucking Webb. And none of our fucking players looking like they care as the game went on.

...Butt..
