Actually you have. As I said I run an amateur club, one of 5 in a 5 mile radius and it is a constant battle - for sponsors, for volunteers, for fucking everything. Every dad is a rugby fan, usually union because they are ex-private school, but their 3 and a half kids all want to play football. But do they contribute, no fucking way. As I said it's a struggle and if one stands tall eventually it will all change. Hopefully. Sorry man, Ive not fully read all the thread, my bad. Sounds like they have issues there. If my lad wanted to do ANY sport I would contribute, even if it was carrying the water bottles at training etc. You hit the nail on the head why they have problems though.
