Fucking love that episode I want to open a chocolate shop called the chocolate runway.

This is my worry. Roeder returning to the long ball. When we kept the ball on the ground like Nobby advised in the paper we were awesome. But when Rodders made us play hump ball we were shit again. Exactly how we played.

Will Roeder be out on his arse..
Kevin Carr's Gloves replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
It is blatantly obvious Roeder didnt have a clue. When Huntington was getting raped time and again the only one offering him any support was Duff. So what does thick twat do he takes duff off. It was also blatantly obvious we needed to attack on the wings so what does thick twat do he decides a team of central midfielders will do the trick. With 25 minutes to go when everyone could see we wouldn't score with that team if we played till a week on Thursday he should have taken off Huntington and Butt/ Parker and Sibierski. Put Nzogbia on the left moving Duff back put Emre in the middle and Milner on the wing and Dyer up front with Martins. He is such a useless cock end. -
I can't disagree more we have been nowhere near creating with this long ball shite. Every time it gets humped it comes straight down our throat 5 seconds later.
-
We shouldn't be surprised apart from about 5 games it is how we have played all season..
-
Looking forward to seeing Roeder get the sack Would you trust Fred to replace him with someone other than Lee Clark? With any luck the fat fuck will die of a coronary soon.

Waste after waste after waste after waste. I fucking hate Roeder.

Rodders is doing exactly what we knew he would and exactly what we knew he shouldn't. He has all the tactical nous of of a seven year old.

If you are in glasgow have a pop into Caley uni and see all the people smoking right under the no smoking signs.

LONDON (Reuters) - Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern said he was still committed to a united Ireland, speaking in an interview with the Guardian published on Thursday. "The Good Friday agreement provided a historic breakthrough in relation to the future of Northern Ireland," Ahern told the newspaper, referring to the 1998 agreement that largely ended 30 years of political and sectarian conflict there. (Advertisement) "I am personally deeply committed to a united Ireland and I make no secret of that fact," he said. "But the most important thing is that we have peace and hopefully reconciliation between everyone on this island. We need to have a unity and a friendship among the people and that must be our first priority." The comments came as Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams said a deal on power-sharing in Northern Ireland was within reach, speaking after talks with Prime Minister Tony Blair. London and Dublin have given Northern Ireland's parties until March 26 to agree to share power in a local executive or face the indefinite continuation of direct British rule. Regardless of the historical rights and wrongs if Ireland became united the troubles would erupt like nothing before. The UVF UFF et al would go on a rampage equatable to what happened in the former yugoslavia.

If you read all of what I said I don't actually think that. All I know is you don't get anyone more selfish than a smoker. What a load of bollocks absolutely true. All think that their right to smoke outweighs everyone else's right to clean air. Even if that were true, which it isn't, how would that make them any more selfish than a non-smoker who owned a massive gas guzzler of a car or any number of equally or more selfish individuals. If you'd said some smokers are very selfish, you'd be right. To state "you don't get anyone more selfish than a smoker" is totally preposterous. But that would be an exception not a generalising fact. Look at the uproar from the smokers at the announcement at the smoking ban. And those that continue to flaunt it. Sorry? What would be the exception? I don't understand the point you're making. Also, most of the 'uproar' has come from pressure groups with vested interests rather than individual smokers imo. Like I said, some are selfish but you suggested no one is more selfish than a smoker. I agree with the ban though. You said that a smoker would be the same as a none smoker with a gas guzzling car. Therefore saying that all non smokers have a gas guzzling car. That is what would be an exception. How did you work that out from what I said? You say smokers are no more selfish than a non smoker with a gas guzzling car. All Smokers smoke and this is bad. Not all none smokers do bad stuff. Is that clearer

Roeder eager to keep tabs on City saga
Kevin Carr's Gloves replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Needs to be tested a little more to confirm that I think. -
Nobody outside of Glasgow should support them. It just promotes the religious differences. And before anyone argues I don't equate this the same as someone from outside Newcastle supporting NUFC. They don't support NUFC because of their religion. I also realise this is not 100% the case but it is in the significant majority.

I think Rodders is an idiot and if we play for a draw we will get thumped.

All think that their right to smoke outweighs everyone else's right to clean air. Nothing more ridiculous than some nutter chuntering about 'clean air' while tramping the smog of some innter city... Nothing more ridiculous than those that equate needing to work in a populated area with wanting to be able to eat in a restaurant or drink in a pub without breathing in the poisonous fumes of an activity which has no benefits.

League's shoot-out plans savaged
Kevin Carr's Gloves replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
If they really wanted more attacking football they should make it 3 points a win and 0 for a loss and 0 for a draw. Teams would sharp learn how to score. -
Calls grow for return of terraces
Kevin Carr's Gloves replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
I would like a return to terraces Think if it was done it would be limited and maybe in the part at the front of the east and west stand. As to policing just make it an all season ticket area. -
If this is true it will have a bad effect on LFC. Players might think twice about joining a club where they get you to sign a contract at the end of a gun barrell.

With two major differences: Despite now only 25% or so of people who are smokers (compared to how many who drink?), the burden smoking caused on the NHS is far, far higher than for drinking. It is amajor cause of stroke, heart attack, lung cancer, and literally dozens of other diseases. Have you ever heard of passive drinking? Not saying alcohol doesn't cause major problems, but you can't really compare it to smoking. Drink-driving, alcohol related abuse/violence. I'm not too fussed about the ban tbh, but smoking related illnesses cost the NHS £1.5bn, smoking revenue is £7bn http://www.nosmokingday.org.uk/downloads/s...oppingfacts.pdf This has the numbers different. it deifferentiates between £8,000 million and £1.5 Billion. http://www.sunblock99.org.uk/sb99/people/J...nd/ji_bill.html This site explains an american billion is 1000,000,000 and a british billion is 1,000,000,000,000 Now I am not saying that is definitely the case here but is does cast a shadow on Forests figures.
