1. Nearly everyone I've spoken to about Super Size Me said that they were either eating fast food at the time, or craved it afterwards. Personally, I watched it eating a double chicken cheese burger and chips. From a a takeaway that's probably far more bad for you than anything McDonalds provides.

Fuck me gently, since the last time I looked at this there's been another ten pages added, and a J69 hissy fit to boot. Annoying thing about the library is that we won't be able to see her face as the penny drops. That is of course assuming there isn't fifty quid in there, I bet Smoothie goes for it anyway.

hopefully, it'll just be envelopes but yea a few hours being grilled by the anti-terrorist branch should provide a few pages of mirth on here like 117016 Better than being roasted tbh.

Just a point, aren't you gonna have to stake out the drop off point all day? Best take a book lads.
5. I loved it and thought the two leads were amazing. Recommended 113226 No and no. I thought it was garbage. Totally unbelievable. Family find out Dad has violent past and think... maybe I could be violent too and start shooting people and engaging in violent sex. Absolute tosh. 114698 Totally agreed the film was asbolute gash 114701 They don't just find out their dad has a violent past, they find out he still is a violent man. He hasn't changed. This turns his wife on and she hates herself for it, she enjoys the rough sex and tries to deny it by remaining angry with him and pretending to blame him. Women love a tough guy. It's all about survival of the fittest, the strongest will flourish and always have, we can all pretend to be goody goody, anti-war, give peace a chance lefties, but if something threatens us or our family, we need to kick an arse or two. If Joey had been the lads father all along, then the son would have been a hard case at school all along, but Tom made the conscious decision that Joey was dead. Tom supressed Joey, and his son supressed his strength in the same way. Only when Joey was forced to act and the son witnessed it all did he start to consider what he might be capable of. He became his fathers son. Inherited the characteristics that benefit him. Nature versus nurture. It's a class film. 114727 Did you read that in a book?

I'm supposed to be in a lecture now, but I couldn't stop reading. Smoothie, you have to go through with this now. The world's eyes are upon you! (BTW Brock it was you who posted this on a Wrestling website wasn't it?) (And I think Ted Rogers is dead. Shame.)
7. Invite him out for a drink with this lot. They'll turn him gay in no time at all. Or Give him a pair of concrete wellies and hoy him into the Aire.

That's what I was thinking. And, viz to our doubts on the logistics of her operation, a note with some buisness advice.

So is Smoothie going through with this, or is he just playing Beadle-esque jape by pretending to hide the money?

I think a general consensus has been reached that the edited version was far superior.

:) Brilliant thread this. GOLD
12. Ah, Leeds women. *shudders*.
13. The White Stripes and The Strokes have been around for a good while now, Arctic Monkeys are gonna be huge. I'm not so sure about the Kaiser Chiefs and Franz Ferdinand, but the latter's recent album shows that they're certainly not slowing down. Ordinary Boys are just living off BB hype tbh. Less Than Jake have settled into a nice little niche (teen 'punk') so it's not surprising they sell out venues. Good for them. They'll never generate the kind of excitement the above bands do though.
14. Arctic Monkeys are pretty popular at the moment.
15. I thought that was a pre-requisite for such bands. I liked the Offspring and Green Day in my yoof but I wouldn't call Billy Joe or whatshisname the most talented of vocalists.
16. I've been watching Fawlty Towers again recently. "What were you expecting to see? The Sydney Opera House? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Heards of wildebeast, sweeping across the plain?" I have also developed an affection for Connie Booth. Good work John!
17. One of my favourites ever 111349 I absolutely love it. This isn't helping your cause, is it? 111350 True, but afterwards I had sex with an above average woman and had a fight, so I've got nothing to hide.
18. I think he's quite a funny person when in TV Burp and when I see him in interviews etc, but his stand up leaves me cold. Same with Ross Noble, when Channel 4 showed his live act I turned it off after 5 minutes.
19. My wife watches ER so I occasionally watch bits of it between flicking the pages of a book or magazine if I can't be arsed to go upstairs. It is utter horse shit now, and completely unrealistic I would think. Should have finished years ago when Greene died. 111891 I know, I only really watch it out of nostalgia. Still, if you think it's unrealistic you should watch House. I would rather stab myself in the eyes than watch that steaming pile of horseshit again. I like the Apprentice though, forgot about that one.
20. I'm often busy in the evenings so I don't get a chance to watch much, but I don't find anything that watchable these days, especially now Shameless has finished. I really don't see what the fuss is about Lost, nothing ever seems to happen. A perfect example of how a good looking cast and a flashy marketing campaign will get people raving over a show that is really quite dull. ER has seriously gone downhill (haven't really been into it since Greene died) but I'll still catch it when I can. Most of the new characters are just irratating though, Kovac was interesting when he was shagging prostitutes all the time but now he's just achingly dull.
21. I wouldn't say they were portrayed particularly badly, just hardly portrayed it all! it's still disappointing especially as the BBC co-produced it. But then again, it was about an American unit. Watched Amelie for the first time in ages. A marvelous film, I love the bit where she offers change to a tramp but he replies 'No thanks, I never work on a Sunday'.
22. Has anybody seen 'The Proposition' yet? I might be seeing it tonight.
23. Can you imagine how unbarable it'd be if they got the final of both cups? 110195 If they lost both, it would take the edge off my disappointment. 110198 As well as getting relegated, as they did in 1997.
24. Ahem, my mistake. Still a middle of the road mediocre side that Liverpool will hump/Chelscum will grind down to a boring 1-0.
