Its pretty boring to be honest, theres nowt going on at the moment. I logged out after 5 minutes.

Actually, I do 100% What Im saying about the email though is thats the only way we have to legitimetly gauge the members views on stuff we put out, their email responses. Debating it here is one thing but its those emails we would use to gauge the success and currently its 100%

You know what? you're right. We'll stop pointing out the things they do wrong and let them just get on with fucking the club up. Meanwhile we'll do the other stuff, plan relegation parties, make sure we have member nights setup for the end of January and September so that people can just get bladdered rather than worry about who we've sold and not bought. No matter how many times you say it on here, I will reitterate.... all the facts point towards this being anything but a derailment for the NUSC. The members and the general fans are more interested in the stuff said than how it was said. Again though, out of interest, why havent you replied to your email to tell us you disagree?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/tyne/7929823.stm Fucking pikeys. I think however that its fairly safe to say that the victim and suspect were related, brother shags sister, has kid, shags cousin, has kid, shags mother....etc etc

QFT At the time I argued with you LM that anything was better than Shepherd, however I've already admitted that I was totally wrong. In hindsight no fan could honestly say they would accept MA now. My question would be though, do you think that if hindsight existed, would Shepherd and Hall have sold their stakes to MA and unfortunately I think they still would.

I would say that they are not hard to measure at all, they are however a lot easier for me to measure than you and from what I am seeing, the current membership are happy with it. As for those that arent members, again I think your "statistics" are incorrect. There are 4 camps as far as the NUSC are concerned. (all of the following are based on my personal beliefs from what Im seeing and hearing) 1. Members - nuff said on that one. 2. Not members but are borderline, either not sure whether to join and giving it time, not keen on paying (at least until they see what we have done with the money raised so far) or happy to join but just havent yet got round to it. These people will not be hugely swayed either way, they are happy to see we got a meeting and shocked by the content. As far as they are concerned we are working away doing the things we said we would but sometimes we say or do things that they think "ouch" and it puts them back another go. From the signup stats I think these havent changed, our sign ups have been along the same numbers per day as they would normally. 3. Those against the NUSC - These are the N-O type group who constantly snipe and dig at the organisation, the people who had no intention of joining anyway and therefore are not swayed by this, no loss there, we werent going to recruit them in the near future and that hasnt changed. What has changed however is the group of people who do believe that the current club directors are hard done by and misrepresented. Some of these will have seen the article and now have doubt in their minds. Job done there then, whether they join NUSC or not, Im happy in the thought that some people may now be starting to question stuff they hadnt before. 4. Those not on the internet (or at least not reading TT, N-O, Ryders blog, etc) these actually make up a much bigger group than us on the internet believe, there is actually a large number of fans who still do not know about all this stuff. In these cases the information about the meeting will filter through over time because people in the pubs and clubs etc talk about that stuff. Topics such as "did you hear about Llambias saying Bassong was a Wise buy and Sebastian confirming he was KKs?" etc are topics talked about but generally not "did you hear about how that NUSC bloke spoke at the meeting with DL?". In these cases, awareness will be raised about the NUSC and the work being done, another good thing. You, I and everyone else knows that last statement of yours is pure and utter drivel though "I dont know if you genuinely cant see this or whether you are just being going along with the current leadership. Whichever it is, its a very sad state of affairs for the true fans of NUFC." The sad state of affairs for the true fans of NUFC is only the stuff that goes on at the club, the displays on the pitch and the shite in the boardrooms (and now the fact that the local rag appears to want to hide that). The fact someone spoke out of turn (in the face of quite harsh adversity) at a meeting that only existed because of this person and his group is not a sad state of affairs for the "true fan" at all and that is clearly proven by the responses to the blog. Out of interest, how come I havent got an email reply from you telling us this? Its no good just coming on here and saying it, we need the responses from members (as those I quoted before have done.) directly otherwise how can we gauge it?

Just to come back to this and especially the bit in bold. I have checked the email address that it was sent from and there have been 22 replies from members. Every one (and I mean every single one) is clear in its praise of the article and what was achieved there. There are zero emails telling us that we've cocked up or that they dont agree with the tone. And before you say that people obviously dont tell us when they dont agree then believe me when I say that they do! I wouldnt attempt to make out that we havent had stick in the past from members quite rightly not happy with the content or tone of previous things because to do that would be a downright lie. We have and quite rightly, these people support the SC and have a say in whats done, yes theyve entrusted the current committee to carry out the day to day running of it until the elections in the Summer but they will still shout when they dont agree it. Dont get me wrong, I believe that in hindsight the email could have been worded better and I think that we all whenever dealing with the club / press etc need to keep a calm head and not get dragged into things. What I dont think is that this has caused us any problems. The fan on the street is more interested in the content than the tone.

well thats the end of Bassongs toon career *now then if only we can get Shola to tell the world that Kinnear is shite

That used to be absolutely class, from The Corner all you'd see would be a side on view of a mass of waving arms. Always got a great view of it from the Scoreboard......you Corner wanker!

yep, that's the point I've been making. DL hasn't attended any before now and has no intention of attending any more.

heading along the platform at Kings Cross at 5 o'clock, by my reckoning hes not going to make the kick off like.

To be fair though these meetings dont exist in reality. Normally its a dozen people sitting with Simon Esland talking about pies and bog facilities, the only reason Llambias came was because the NUSC pushed and pushed at it. The NUSC has a seat at these meetings from now, not to cause problems or to sit and slag off DL but to ensure that the important fans things are raised not just how the club can sell more tat. Esland himself acknowledges the stuff that can be done when both work together.

ahhhhh the old "too cliquey to agree with me" response.

I dont see the email as shooting us in the foot at all, in fact quite the opposite. The email went to members and members only, they decided to post it for public consumption which they are more than entitled to do. What the email and Ryders piece has done is shown that a- we are giving our members the information and b- people shouldnt believe a word they read in the Ronnie, as far as anyone would have been concerned from their reports that meeting was a nice happy handshake kind of thing where only good things were said by DL. We reported the facts of the meeting as they happened not some glossed up version. The wording probably could have been better yes but frankly who gives a fuck? M Teasdale could have held his nerve better and got less worked up yes but at the same time Derek Llambias treat these 4 members of the panel as lepers from the moment he realised who they were. This was apparent in the fact that he was nice as pie to one lass for over an hour then got a nudge from Esland when she asked a further question and told who she was. Venom can be the only word to describe the way he treat her from that second onwards. I have no problems with this at all, if anything I think the person with holes in their feet and credibility is Ryder. Journalist? my arse, he was even made to admit by Llambias that he misrepresented the Aston Villa quote yet Ryder had clearly stated to the world that what was being printed from the DL interview was word for word.

Ferguson: No where in the world has support like Newcastle United

Just welcoming you back by making your job easy tbh. I reckon he missed me. Whilst on my "sabbatical" I saw him fishing left right and centre with "Spurs fans are the worst in the country" posts left right and centre. Quite sweet really. sabbatical adjective 1. of or relating to the Sabbath; "Friday is a sabbatical day for Muslims" 2. of or relating to sabbatical leave; "I usually take a sabbatical when Spurs are playing shite" noun 1. a leave usually taken every seventh year -
bollocks I think Ive just deleted Alex's post instead of my duplicate

That explains the cocky attitude and the petulant way the email was written then. Also the fact it took a week to write up. I know you're kidding, but Lee Ryder is getting paid to write it up. This Teasdale fella isn't. The chronicle want to take a look at themselves for not reporting impartially what was said at the meeting. Comments Llambias made that Ryder himself admits were reported "accurately" by the NUSC, why has the Chronicle not reported the same quotes in over a week since? Seems to me the NUSC was worth the tenner to get this sort of thing in the public domain alone, if the "journalists" at the meeting didn't think the fans would be interested. Nail and fucking head. Designed to take away any credibility from the actual stuff thats in the email, any reporter worth his salt (and a few who are will be questioning the quotes) should have jumped on some of the stuff (that Ryder saw with his own eyes) and produced a hard hitting Journal / Chron piece yet strangely didnt.

Is the correct answer tbh. Reality is he and everyone else sees us as a laughing stock. FYP -
Tell you what.... there'll be some messy duvets out there today. Slags off NUSC and mentions N-O in the same story, sales of kleenex and Daz will hit the roof.

Ive got no problem with the questioning around the tone of the article Michael put out, on reflection I think the criticisms are fair but over the top, this however is a disgrace and an attempt to take the heat away from any of the numerously shocking things said by Llambias. On reflection if we'd picked those out and posted them alone then it would have been beneficial. What it wouldnt have done though was give those of us not lucky enough to attend an insight into just how odiously DL went about his business. The level of abuse from a Managing Director of this club towards members of the panel purely because of their affiliation with the NUSC was staggering. However, a local reporter who was at the same meeting not reporting these things and instead using the space to dig at another there is nothing short of a waste of Thompson House's money. They may as well have sent a junior and told him to watch what the others there do. Where is the hard hitting journalism Lee? Why arent you questioning our Managing Directors total lack of understanding or sense in some of his answers? Why arent you seriously worried and passing this information onto the fans you purport to be one of and care for? Others do, read anything from the two proper journalists that turned upto the NUSC meeting with you and you'll see how to do your job. Still, at least you'll get your reward from Derek in the form of the odd snippet of information that you can put out as an exclusive.
