  1. Fantastic days batting! Aussies 3/346 Hussey 63* Punter 137*
  2. Punter looking in great touch. Got to love his pull and hook shots. JL was just too aggressive after lunch and now finds himself back in the shed. Good innings. And just to say something i predicted Harmy would bowl that wide for the first ball, hilarious.
  3. Watson... what a loss Bell, too much wanking? his replacment isn't much better tbh. michael clarke is piss poor. your number six is your weak link, just as wicket keeper is ours. i think you need a decent allrounder just as much as we need a wicket keeper that can bat and hold catches. Michael Clarke the weak link? He averaged just under 40 against England last Ashes series, which was terrible for us. I dont see how he is a weak link when he is more then handy with the bat and his fielding is superb. Can be handy with the ball (has an average of under 10 with the ball), so i dont know how he is a weak link... Besides that Hussey can bowl, he can do everything else. The bloke is a legend Considering the only Aussie batsman to average over 40 was Langer I think he did pretty well! By that i mean that Australia had the terrible series. So for him to averaged just under 40 was good, hence my point that i dont see how he could be the weak link.

  5. You have to laugh at the drunken stupidity of it all. I mean seriously who would put there hand back in the bag? I guess you do feel pain when you are drunk, amazing story. Not really funny for him but still...
  6. Watson... what a loss Bell, too much wanking?
  7. Haha, easy tiger. I had an unexpected internet malfunction if i remember correctly Uber understatement of the decade!!!!!! THE best spinner of all time and one of the best pace bowlers of all time!!!! I was just reiterating what had already been said and of course i know that is a complete understandment i mean if no one did then i dont think they know cricket.
  8. why do you say that? the ozzies are an aging and unbalanced outfit - take warne out of the equation and they're perfectly beatable. a lot will depend on whether a 36 year old mcgrath has the stamina. all our batsmen are in good knick and we've finally got a spinner than can turn the ball. i fancy our chances. We will be fine without Warney, Stewie will still be around for a couple of more years after Warne retires and from there we will have a few of the younger lads coming through again. Aaron Heal from the Warriors has already taken 15 wickets this season at the WACA ground out of all grounds! Culls is on the fringe there aswell so we shall be fine. ...don't forget he's a year older now too and he's hardly played any cricket in a year. is his aging body up to a 5 test series? take mcgrath and warne out of their side and they're ordinary. if mcgrath isn't on song or misses a couple of tests through injury, they're beatable. McGrath is easily fit for the 5 test series, there is no doubts. So there is no need to worry about him in that department. Take both Warne and McGrath out and yes we will be starved of two very good bowlers however we have the cover coming through to take their positions albeit it not as economical as them nor as consistant but we will still take the wickets we need and score the runs we need. England are struggling with injuries, Aussies 4-0
  9. Time to bring this back up as it is time for the first test to start soon. We have Watson in doubt for the first test while your mob have big problems. Bell, Flintoff and KP cant save you on their own. But still i cant wait for it to start and let the games begin
  10. Quality! What was with all the yellow cards in the final minutes? Bit of a scuffle or something or what? Cant believe we held onto draw against Arsenal at Emirates! That is hilarious. Just hope Dyer stays fit from now on end. Well done lads.
  11. Trying to study for the toughest exam on Monday morning but it is Saturday night and i cant be fucked, tbh. Watching the EPL is so much better. If only i could watch our demolition of the Gunners.... Whats some good studying techniques? im too easily distracted...
  12. Man City 3-0 Fulham @ HT Corradi with a double and Joey Barton with the other goal. Zat Knight is shit i hope we dont sign him, reminds me of Bramble with his long balls but his are generally diagonal balls to no one that just go out of play... Nicky Weaver has done one thing all half and that was punch a ball in the dying moments of the first half.
  13. Yep it certainly is, this seems to be a regular occurance. Oh well
  14. DAILY EXPRESS * Alan Curbishley is the manager wanted by the Belgravia Group if they pull off a successful takeover of Newcastle. Thought we would be able to target someone with a bit more of a profile...
  15. Noice, i hate the hard balls where you have no chance of getting to them eg the ones that go miles over the top
  16. I think a tsunami has hit the epicentre for MSN
  17. ENGLAND feared Marcus Trescothick was having a complete mental breakdown when the sobbing cricketer locked himself in his hotel room a day before his SCG dressing room meltdown. Story here...
  18. Probably why he has a hip problem. Just ask Ameobi he trains everyday of his life and plays the games aswell and look at his 60 year old hips. Swinging more then a rusty gate to be honest. Having said that it shouldnt of taken this long to get Bernard fit to start an EPL match. Has Roeder got another enemy in the camp?
  19. Never know a baby might of drowned... so best be prepared. I wonder if any surfers took advantage of the increased swells?

As has been said i would snap their hands off for that price. Would you want to push N'Zogbia into the middle and allow him to run at players or what instead of getting a replacement player. Spent the money elsewhere eg defenders?
  22. Im not sure i cant remember. Probably Aussies Burnt to Ashes or something stupid like that...
  23. Why would you take someone with depression on an Ashes tour in Australia? Hope he gets himself sorted out. I thought i was reading an english paper the way The West had their headline in today's paper. They had a big headline saying "STRESSCOTHICK" ala the ones you see from The Sun over your way. Thought it was a bit harsh to be honest but yeah anyways....
  24. Is that the stock standard answer to every player that doesnt settle immediately? Compare them to Henry... I have full faith in Martins if we get rid of Roeder and or magically Roeder gets the idea that we arent playing to the advantage of Martins. I just hope the inclusion of Dyer can only help Martins.
  25. Huge blow to England there in Trescothick, obviously. But what is wrong with him? He left the ICC Champions Trohphy and has now left Australia on the eve of the Ashes? It just goes from bad to worse for your lot. England are reminding me of Newcastle in terms of injuries at the moment aswell as general shitness.
