Thats why you have "5-0" in your sig then is it? Nah i was writing as if i had just flow half way around the world to see my team play cricket but get thumped time and time again. So if i had done that i would of at least liked to have seen at least one win through the whole series. I seem to recall countless messages on my phone from a mate in England taking the piss and countless posts on here last year, a ticker tape parade and MBE's given to everyone and i think at one stage a knighthood or something was being talked about or maybe that was just messageboard jargen. I dont think i have ever really celebrated belting England, it hasnt phased me to be honest until we lost last year and i saw all the festivities and royalty that the England cricket team were given. It annoyed me as we have dominated time and time again year after year and we dont get all that stupid royalty shit, ticker tape parades and crap like that so this year i was going to kick up a stink once we won to bring England back down to Earth with a thud. But it wasnt as close as i hoped so once again it is back to normality and im sorta bored of it already. Was a good dominating series but England were an utter shambles and to be even more honest i think it is the papers kicking more of a stink out of it then anyone. I dont think too much has been said about it at my local cricket club so im not sure where this motion of kicking up a hooler and whoop is. It is banter most of it tongue in cheek and it goes back and forth even when you lose. I think ive just written a whole lot of bollocks, tbh I would say it is probably cause your England and our apparent 'motherland' but fuck knows. Maybe it is cause so many English live in Australia and vice versa, who knows really.

Would love to get over for the 09 series. I didnt think it would be a whitewash at the start of the series but it has been the biggest whitewash of all. I think the Adelaide test killed it for England, heads would of slumped big time over that result. The English fans that follow this rabble around and pay big bucks have gotten nothing out of this. I feel for them as i would at least liked to have seen an English win. Although the England Legends side beat the Australian Legends side at least. Hopefully this side can go on and beat our record of 16 (i think) test victories in a row as we are now on 12. Happy times for all and for all a good night. Love Australia.

you really think it will be that easy? lords aside, we outplayed you in every test of the last series and were unlucky not to win by more than 2-1. we should have beaten you at old trafford and probably would have won at the oval if a day wasn't lost to rain. now that watson is injured i think you'll miss a trick if you go with a shorter tail but sacrifice a bowler. you struggled to bowl us out last time with just the three seamers. warne is a genius but he can't do it all on his own we're going to miss simon jones and vaughn. a mentally fit trescothick would have helped the top order but it's better that he's gone because his forms been shite since the ashes. our number six could win us the series. michael clarke and shane watson aren't in the same league as super fred tbh. i'd still say your slight favourites to win but i can't see it being a whitewash. i'll say 2-1 to the convicts, but i expect us to reclaim the ashes next time we play in england if warne and mcgrath aren't around. I think Michael Clarke has proved himself again this series with an average of about 80. Hindsight is a wonderful thing really

Just thought i would bring this baby back up. Sir Richard Branson is leading a campaign to keep the Ashes in Australia and the winner actually wins the right to keep them. This could be interesting and i agree with him completely. On the field Flintoff scored 89 as England were all out for 291 and in reply Australia are 4/188 with Symonds and Hussey at the crease. Should be an interesting couple of days coming up.

Apparently (if i heard it correctly) now that he is hanged he obviously cannot be tried for some of the other crimes he committed so some families wont get justice but i suppose he has been hung so i guess thats always a positive if you knew he killed one of your family members or more. Also apparently one of the Arab TV networks had a camera rolling as it happened, the hanging, so expect it to be online shortly i guess.

As the title suggests what is everyone doing on New Years Eve? Generally it is just a big excuse to get drunk off your tits and make a fool out of yourself and others. Which i will probably abide to this year as there is a massive party at my mates place, which will involve a plethora of alcohol and a game of hacky sack and beer pong. I've also been invited to Gloucester Park to see in the New Year with fireworks and horse racing but i will lose enough money as it is so i doubt i will go to GP but there would be sexual benefits at the end no doubt, they can wait. Thats quality. Melbourne fans have been awesome all year and hopefully the rest of the A-League picks up from what Melbourne have done in terms of support base, crowd numbers and on field performance. Cant believe that last year they were the worst Australian team in the comp and now they are by far the best team in the competition and if they dont take out the GF it will be a travesty really. Hence i hate these so called finals and once again brings up the debate of whether or not to have them. It is comical, i was at the Perth Glory v Adelaide United game last night and at the end of the game, after the refs had walked off and the Adelaide players were in the process of walking off, two of our players (well one really...) started throwing punches at our captain. What are the odds the two teams i support in the world of football have had team mates brawling? Quite a pansy slap really that connected and the other two punches missed. Apparently they continued it on in the dressing room. Well Webster did anyways and he stormed out of the changerooms apparently. Good times....
