He has always been a decent premiership player. Was glad when we signed him because thought we were getting a good quality squad player. All the hooha at the time we signed was more about the fact that he was the only one to be brought in.

It's certainly a little different, it's kind of a lot less subtle... and akward moments do seem a bit crowbared in just for the story's sake. yes, that's exactly what I meant, as soon as you step into series two, it has it's own feel and gets very entertaining.

Don't Max Drives only update option files ie. just have fixed kits working with the games editing system? I patched PES4 for my PS2 a few years ago, and it was great! having all kits made from scratch as bitmap files. Problem with the console, you can't mix and match patches like for PC unless you really know what you're doing and have time to look it up... meh I guess I'll have to look into it, because the default kits really do look bad!

Thought I'd give them all a shot on allfg.org ... and the show is pretty good, it takes the first few episodes to shake off the very strong similarities with the original, and to find it's own derived storylines but after a while you just go with it, and it's a fun sitcom! And Steve Carell is just great.
