Blu-Ray player is supposed to be as good as any standalone though. Saying that though, anyone paying £425 for a player wants their head read as well. The problem being with the two disc formats, you could find yourself lumbered with the "Betamax" of the two. Aye even Stuff magazine last month said they were doing a first but not at this moment recommedning either/or and that you should wait to see which one comes out on top.

No wonder we were shite before the current board tookover, Leazesmag was the only fucker who supported the club/ went to the games back then....

Four hours in front of the mirror getting ready you vain sod? Living in the sticks its a pain in the arse having to travel away back home to then travel all the way back up to Glasgow so rather than go straight out I would rather go home and have another shower before I head out. I don't want to sit in a nice restaurant with my other half smelling like some of the night before "showerers" on here... Where do you live SM Helensburgh Posh git. I wish, trying to get on the property ladder but with it being reported that its the second most expensive place to live in Scotland I dunno how the fook I am going to find somewhere here. Move to Dumbarton.

I am getting offered my contract next month but have had hints from other people it won't be the kind if salary I was hoping for. Problem is I am happy in where I work at the moment and having only graduated last year after going back into full time education on the back of being miserable in my last job I dunno what I should do if the money isn't really "good enough".

Liverpool - the finest supporters on earth, or just wankers?

Aye heard that yesterday.. Not for long with Big Feck in charge. We'll see, whilst I wasn't to keen on him getting the job if you actually look at his record at Rangers it wasnt as bad as most make out. He also did a good job at both Motherwell and Hibernian. Nar you're right, his trophy record was as good as MO'N's really and he had a fraction of what Fat Dick had money wise. Shite club anyway. One thing I can never understand is why Lee McCulloch is never first choice, and how Kenny Miller is. I am a big McCulloch fan but would play him more on the left. Kenny Miller is played for his pace and movement and to be fair he hasn't really let Scotland down. Gave Cannavaro and Nesta a torrid time but I would rather see someone up top with him rather than the lone striker, but its working at the minute. -

Would you rather be in a job you are happy with, but on less money than you would like, or a well paid job which you are not particularly happy in?

Away from your current employer? Good luck! You were saying you'd been there a while the other day iirc? Aye thanks, its with a local oil company, the job description is precisely what I do now, but might require working off-shore occasionally, no salary mentioned but they are known to pay well, I feel like its time for a change, I've been with my current employer for 17 years this year. Do you think you will get to sit and watch Lost on your PSP with this new employer?

Newcastle United were dealt a blow on the eve of their return to European action with the news that skipper Scott Parker is out of the game in Belgium. Parker was not included in the United squad which few out from Newcastle Airport this morning for tomorrow night's clash with part-timers Zulte-Waregem in the first leg of their UEFA Cup tie. The Toon skipper was one of the stars of their battling 2-1 win over Liverpool at the weekend but paid the price as he was left with a tight hamstring. And Glenn Roeder has opted not to take any chances by leaving his captain (pictured) at home to recover. But Parker apart, Roeder has pledged to field the strongest side he has available tomorrow night. The United boss took in Middlesbrough's FA Cup fourth-round replay with Bristol City at the Riverside last night before boarding this morning's flight to Ostend ahead of his side's clash with the European minnows in Ghent. Roeder knows he cannot play Oguchi Onyewu, who had a solid game against Liverpool, because he is cup-tied from playing earlier in the UEFA Cup campaign for Standard Liege. The Toon boss is still keeping close tabs on Kieron Dyer after he played three games in seven days last week, as well as Nicky Butt, who has been playing with an injured big toe. But Roeder is determined to make it smoothly through to the last 16. Roeder said today: "Nobody will be rested against Zulte-Waregem. "I will be fielding the strongest line-up available to me, and with no Premiership game to think about at the weekend we can concentrate on the two legs of this UEFA Cup tie. "It would be nice to leave Belgium with a positive result that will give us the platform to progress in the competition." Roeder may recall Irish winger Damien Duff to his midfield after the ex-Chelsea man sat out the 2-1 win over Liverpool. It means the Londoner may reshuffle his midfield, with Nobby Solano dropping to right-back and Steven Taylor partnering Titus Bramble in the heart of defence in place of Onyewu. Roeder isn't underestimating the challenge of Zulte, who will play the game at Ghent's stadium as they have no floodlights at their Regenboogstadion home. Roeder said: "We can't, and won't, underestimate them whatsoever - it would be an unprofessional thing to do. "We have done the same type of research on Zulte as we would if we were playing Chelsea or Arsenal. "They have been watched on three occasions by David Mills our chief scout. "This is cup football and anything can happen. They have already shocked Sparta Prague and Austria Vienna so we cannot take anything for granted." United squad: Babayaro, Bramble, Butt, Carroll, Duff, Dyer, Edgar, Forster, Harper, Huntington, LuaLua, Luque, Martins, Milner, Pattison, Sibierski, Solano, Srnicek, Taylor and Troisi.

Steven Taylor admits that he is living the dream by playing for his home-town club Newcastle. The youngster has established himself as a key figure for The Magpies with his no-nonsense approach to defending, but he admits it is an amazing feeling to be playing for the club he supported as a child. And the 21-year-old claims he is determined to silence the critics who have derided Newcastle's defence for a number of years. "It's what I have always dreamed of doing, and I still can't quite believe I am doing it," he told the Daily Mail. "I remember going to a European tie against Barcelona as a kid, when Tino Asprilla scored a hat-trick, and thinking it was the best night of my life. Every goal that went in, the noise got louder, and I wondered then what it must feel like to be out there in the middle. "A couple of years later, I got the chance to be one of the ball boys, and the same thought crossed my mind. I stepped on to the pitch to sidefoot the ball to Pavel Srnicek, turned round at the sea of faces and thought: 'If only'. Now Pav's a team-mate, and I'm living out my dream. It's unreal. "It's just the most amazing adrenalin rush when you've got a full house screaming at you at St James'. There is nothing like it, nothing." Defending has been Newcastle's Achilles heel for a number of years, but Taylor is determined to play a part in shoring up the back four. "For the past 10 or 15 years, all I have known is our back four being hammered," he admitted. "If I could help persuade people to say a few positive things about us before I've finished, I'd settle for that."
