  1. aaaaaaalan, don't worry about the fact that Ritchie is 27 and still a student. He's very small so he was put back a few years at school so that he fit in with his classmates. He's just finished juniors. 94909[/snapback] At least i have an excuse, whats yours for still hanging about the schools? You been offering wee boys to come see your puppies?

  4. Cagliari attacking sensation Mauro Esposito is a summer target for Newcastle United, according to reports. The Premiership’s Bianconeri are said to be at the front of a lengthy queue for the 26-year-old winger. Although the Naples-born individual has struggled for form this term, numerous outfits are ready to swoop – especially if Cagliari are relegated. Palermo, Roma and Fiorentina are said to be monitoring his situation, but a move to England could be on the cards. Esposito, formerly of Pescara and Udinese, first hit the headlines in 2003-04 when he netted 17 goals in 40 Serie B games. He confirmed his ability in the top-flight last term, when he bagged an incredible 16 in just 34 ties. His speedy performances understandably caught the eye of Italy boss Marcello Lippi who handed him an Azzurri jersey. Esposito, who dreams of one day wearing the Napoli shirt, has drifted away from international contention this term, though. It’s unclear at this stage how much Newcastle are prepared to bid, even if Cagliari are said to be looking for something between £5m and £7m.
  5. Good to see its another Newcastle United XI. Hopefully we will see the likes of Ferdinand back at St James Park for the game.
  6. If he does play there will be a lot of unhappy Rangers supporters..

  8. Albert Luque has admitted he walked out of St James' Park after being left out of the side that defeated Portsmouth, but stresses he did it with Glenn Roeder's blessing. The expensive Spanish import has struggled to prove his worth at Newcastle United and has not featured since Roeder replaced Graeme Souness. With the World Cup finals on the horizon, the former Deportivo La Coruna forward is refusing to give up hope of impressing for The Magpies. "Once I recovered from injury, I played three games," he told La Voz de la Galicia. "But they sacked Souness, in came Roeder and, already, in the first match, he left me out of the squad. "He has not given me an explanation, nor am I going to request one, because he is the one who picks the team. So I accepted the situation. "But, to my surprise, he has left me out and I do not know why. "Absolutely [did I leave the Portsmouth game]. The coach said to me that he was not going to use me. I responded to him by saying I respected his decision but it was surprising for me and I preferred to go to my house. He gave me permission and I left with his consent." Luque concedes he is struggling to adapt to Premiership life after leaving La Liga last summer. "I played 90 minutes against Manchester United," he added. "In the second game, against Fulham, I injured myself and was out for 12 weeks. "Later, I returned to take the field and, when I got in, they sacked Souness. "The truth is that it is a different type of football - if you do not go to a 'sharpshooting' team - Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester. Except for those four, the others practise a direct English game and with force." Luque is remaining positive and still hopes to represent Spain in Germany 2006. "I continue thinking positive in spite of the disadvantages that I have had," he explained. "Now I want to demonstrate that I can play here without problems. "With all these misfortunes, it's true Luis Aragones has not been able to see me much, but I want to demonstrate that I can be in the international squad. "The talent is not what they look for at this moment in Newcastle, more so in this situation. The only thing they want is that those who play run 100 percent, that the defenders send direct balls, and that the forwards fight for them."
  9. Newcastle United stayed cool today at reports that Martin O'Neill is ready to turn them down for England, (writes Alan Oliver). For with Glenn Roeder steadying the ship so superbly United know that they do not need to rush into finding a replacement for Graeme Souness. Indeed United have stressed that they have made no approach to anyone for their vacant managerial position. But O'Neill is starting to become involved in football matters again with his wife Geraldine showing improvement from her illness. He was at a testimonial dinner for a football writer in the Midlands on Thursday and last night the former Celtic boss was at a dinner in Glasgow. O'Neill has a lot of support in Soho Square for the England job and there are conflicting reports from "friends" of the amiable Irishman as to whether he would like to come to St James' Park or try his luck on the national scene. Freddy Shepherd is staying calm about the whole situation, and reports on Sky Sports today saying that Ottmar Hitzfeld was on his way to Tyneside were wrong. There seems to be a concerted campaign for Hitzfeld which has mystified both United and the Press, who are being bombarded with e-mails. The Chronicle has had around 400 in support of Hitzfeld and only two saying O'Neill is the man for the job. German Ralf Ranenick, who has just lost his job at Schalke, turned up with his agent at Villa Park on Saturday - but not at Shepherd's invitation. And although Sven-Goran Eriksson was sitting just behind Shepherd, he told the United supremo that he was completely focused on England and the World Cup. The England situation has clearly complicated things not only for United but for other Premiership clubs. Manchester City enquired today whether O'Neill is coming to United for they believe if he does then they would lose Stuart Pearce to England.
  10. Dunno about Bellamy but i reckon we may see Agathe who i see Arsenal are showing an interest in...
  11. SSN are reporting he is being questioned by the police regarding an alleged assualt on a 19 year old woman in Cardiff.
  12. Were you and Mosley watching the same game? He got the worst rating over there with a 6 whilst everyone else except Babayaro got an 8 or a 9...
  13. Got an 8 and a 9 in NO match ratings.. Jean-Alain Boumsong - 8 Boum is back. He was a key element of the magnificent 2nd half defensive display which ensured we held on to all 3 points, throwing himself at just about everything and he was solid in the air too. He seems to have regained his confidence and his performances are improving as a result. Also should have scored with a 1st half header which somehow bounced over. Titus Bramble - 9 The other half of the B Team at the back for United, Bramble was just as good as his partner. While he allowed Moore to get in front of him for the Villa goal, it was quick movement from the striker and only a minor error. Other than that his display was just about faultless as he won every ball, and could even have had a goal himself as he charged forward early in the 2nd half.
  14. Prepare for mass suicide... The guy on sky said that after talking to Shepherd (this morning) all the Hitzfeld stories are bollocks and they have no plans to either approach or talk to him...
  15. Skunkers don't think the campaign has been going down to well..
  16. Sounds like half the members of this board tbh
  17. What do you think they done to solve the problem?? Confiscated his mobile?
  18. GRAEME SOUNESS wants to manage in the Premiership again - and put his Newcastle nightmare behind him. Souness is said to be "raring to go" after being run out of Toon. The seasoned Scot was tipped to be heading for retirement and a life of leisure in Australia after his torrid 18 months on Tyneside. But he has told friends that he is dying for a new challenge - and he intends to make sure his break from the game is as brief as possible. Souness will first recharge his batteries with a family holiday in Florida. But he has no plans to emigrate just yet. One of his closest pals revealed: "Graeme is determined to have another go at being a boss. "There were so many things against him at Newcastle that he grew frustrated, but he wants to show what he can do." Souness finds himself out of work for the first time in nearly seven years after his stint at Blackburn Rovers and then St James' Park. The problems at Newcastle and the weakening relationship with chairman Freddy Shepherd and the local media made it a rough ride. But he is quickly back on his feet and determined to prove a point to those Geordies who wanted him out. There are some Premiership posts already on Souness's horizon or he might be persuaded to take on a sleeping giant in the Championship. Souness also has powerful allies within the game and potential takeovers at one or two top clubs in the coming months could be right up his street. However, one friend he will not be teaming up with again is Glasgow Rangers chairman David Murray. Souness is cool on a return to Scotland and sees his future in England. His lucrative St James' Park contract still had almost 18 months to run when he got the bullet. With Newcastle committed to paying him for the rest of that agreement, he doesn't need the kind of money that might scare off other clubs. Souness remains sore about the way things turned out at Newcastle and will want to prove them wrong. He thinks the players he bought will come good when they are all fit. And the cynicism of sacking him before a run of six home games in eight matches rankles with the man who is far from finished with English football.
  19. GAY AS YOU GO! By Rav Singh ON me bed, Sony! The News of the World today reveals how two bisexual Premiership stars made some VERY dirty phone calls—using a mobile as a gay sex toy. The players—one capped several times for England— were caught on camera cavorting with a pal well known in the music industry in a homosexual orgy that will shock soccer. The three men—who cannot be identified for legal reasons—are pictured wearing just vests and boxer shorts as they tackle each other in ways fans never expected. In the astonishing pictures—seen by our showbiz columnist Rav Singh, Player A—a household name who has a reputation as a rebel on and off the pitch—shoves his mobile down his boxers. He performs a sex act with it which is too obscene to be described here. Then Player B calls his number to make the phone vibrate. Player A is also pictured on the bed while Player B—a multi-million pound goal-scoring mid-fielder—kneels to perform oral sex on him. Meanwhile the music man can also be seen leaning over the pair, kissing and caressing the footballers, who play for different sides. The source who handed us the graphic images said: "Fans would be stunned if they knew who the players were. "Both have had girlfriends and one is still in a relationship. If anything they are known as ladies' men—lads who like chasing skirt at nightclubs. They're always in the papers with some glamorous girl or another. Never in a million years would you think they'd be involved in anything like this." The sordid sex session took place in the flat of one of the players. The source added: "They all stripped down to their vests and boxers—not exactly the sort of gear you'd just sit around in for a chat. And then they're in the bedroom and it all kicks off. "Soon it was like something out of a hard core porn film. "One (Player A) lay on the bed while his mate (Player knelt down beside him and gave him a **** ***. Soon his (Player A's) face was contorted with pleasure. "When all this was going on, the music bloke was leaning all over them both, kissing and stroking every bit of flesh he could get to. "Then (Player got up and went over to the other side of the room to change the music they were listening to. "While he was doing it (Player A) got his mobile phone out and you can see him pushing it down his shorts. "You can see he's urging (Player to ring him. He must have had the vibrate alert on. (Player then gets out his phone and rings him again and again while (Player A) closes his eyes." In the set of images Player A seems to be the leader in the hardcore sex games while the music man is mainly content to watch. "They were so relaxed with each other it looked like this wasn't the first time," said our source. "It wouldn't surprise me if they'd had each other's numbers before."
