Yes - he gave him a contract and wants to give him another. It may not be his fault there aren't better options but the fact that it is someone so useless is down to him.

Swansea at home.
-
Well first choice Ben Arfa for starters. And yes I'd try Campbell before Shola. Of course you're right about the home team going SOB being a factor but the way we wilt too easily, too often is worthy of comment.

QPR is the only game I think we have any chance of winning - I know HF keeps saying Liverpool are shit away but history makes me think they'll hammer us.
-
If we go down I'll look back on this game as the perfect example of why. Ameobi the game changer - just fuck off Pardew.

I say it every time but I absolutely despise Trevor Francis.

People from Sunderland pronounce make and take as "mack":snd "tack". I first heard it in about 1977 and it was definitely a pisstake/insult but as I said since then they've claimed it as an ID and you'll read some guff about making and taking ships on the river allowing for the pronunciation which is bollocks.
-
Its the Mackems' fault - when I used to go away by train in the 80s and early 90s there were loads of fans from Durham as far down as Darlington and even parts of teeside who all travelled together with no bother. Both Newcastle and Sunderland had fans from all over the north east and by and large everyone was happy with that. Then the Mackems decided to claim the "Mackem" identity to counteract its use as an insult and at the same time polarise themselves by denying any links to being generically "Geordie" - thus pissing off a lot of their fans from South Tynside and Northumberland in the process. Unforunately a side effect of this was to make Newcastle fans from the city more insular as well and start thinking that Durham/South of the river = Mackem when in truth the area as whole still has many grey areas.

It wss people like you and your media who predicted and secretly hoped for mass protests to suit your agenda that those who opposed her were just scum. As it turns out most of us are more decent than you thought so now you try to use the lack to suggest there is no dissent. Wrong.
-
You still haven't answered the question as to why no other country copied her full on and why other countries who completely rejected her policies were/are more successful. What you are trying to do - as are the media - is suggest that all dissent comes from miners/trade unionists/anarchists and other "undesirables" - what you don't realise is that it goes way beyond that but maybe they were unheard because they didn't make the news. I went out with three blokes at dinner time - one Irish, one from Ipswich and one from London. The two English lads didn't match my or the Irish lad's vitriol but they both said she was a bastard - the only thing it takes to realise that is simple human empathy - something complete lacking in all Tories and obviously in traitors like you.
-
I thought that was a bit strange - needed an "and?...." response. Bloke is obviously an establishment stooge.
-
Maybe those who hated her disappointed you by not lowering themselves to that level. Opinion polls suggest she divided the nation so if you think its a minority then you're even more blind than we thought.

Less than ten thousand out of 65m in the place she sacrificed the rest to, to benefit.
-
Been for a couple of "toasts" at a bar in Cheapside and the place is still crawling with stormtroopers and oxygen thieves mourning her. At least this should mark the end of it in practical terms.
-
I agree but I'm worried the funeral will sort of draw a line under the matter leaving her defined as this saint they've created. Maybe a debate in parliament with the gloves completely off would help but I'm not sure.
-
Bit eerie this morning walking to work with the blocked off streets. Maybe paranoid but I sensed a sombre mood about so did my best to respond by grinning like an idiot as I went.
-
The away record which has barely improved even with the new players is what causes me to worry. Plus two difficult home games.
-
The best "practical" response I've read to that was a one off 20% levy on all assets over 1m. Would be worth it just to hear the squeals as they headed for the exit.
-
Theres a thing in the Guardian about the Hitler and the sun resurrecting the term "leftie" as an insult as in "lefties spewing bile" - they really do seem surprised she's hated and have to play the "respect" card as if she was fucking human. Talking of respect - canny rant by Galloway today.
-
He played Jonas LB because he didn't expect them to attack - massive mistake - as was playing Marveaux in a derby. They got the breaks regarding the offsides but overall it reminded me of the first few games under Reid - they wanted it more and deserved it which always hurts. I still fear for us as we could quit easily lose the three away games and both home games are dodgy.

Fuckin fanzone as the main commentary - sky cunts

The power cuts were mainly caused by the oil crisis rather than the unions. As Rayvin said the winter of discontent was pretty brief - if you want to pick a couple of bad months to characterise a government then the pickings for 79 to 90 are legion.
-
The bloke who told his wife he hated her and ended up divorcing her was the best.
-
Nobody can deny she was huge figure in recent history - especially in the context of a forum based on mainly natives of the North East.

Probably in my top five perfect women. (Disclaimer: obviously real perfection would involve a brain and personality which can never be assumed)
