You mean the programme or the movie?

Because the older I get the funnier I find the Simpsons! So many reference went over my head when I was younger that I get now,not sure how you can call it a kids programme!

Sick.

Honestly mate, if you haven't seen it before, watch some episodes, preferably between season 3 and 6. I know more adults who love it than kids!

Went to see it this afternoon. It was okay, but nothing hilarious. I had a bit of a struggle to stay awake for the last 15mins as I found it becoming a bit tedious.

7/10 on the hips scale.

Agreed.

Nee chance is South Park better than The Simpsons though!

Overall it is now, easily. I've recently switched sides on that fact... but the Simpsons should have stopped a long long long time ago.

I meant overall, I'd agree you with you at present. Some of the early episodes like Cape Feare are way better than anything South park has ever done.

South Park is much more clever than the Simpsons on just about every level. It has also grown, getting progressively funnier whilst the Simpsons has been getting slowly worse. Only downside is that it is on Paramount and I can never remember when its on (I think it might be mainly Fridays which is a bad night anyway).

I adore the early Simpsons... but there's no doubt in my mind now that South Park is at a higher level.

Plus I also have a lot more faith in Matt and Trey to give it up when they will have blatantly jumped the shark.

Rubbish, Scott Tenorman Must Die pisses over anything The Simpsons has ever done.

Just watched that episode on your recommendation.

A lad buys some pubes and seeks revenge on the seller.

Not quite up there with the genius of Make Love, Not Warcraft

Well I saw it at the weekend and must admit it's probably the most Ive laughed out loud at the pictures ever. Although I wasn't old enough to have ever seen Airplane at the pictures.

Not the greatest film ever made but good fun and even had the audience applauding at the end ( a little OTT perhaps!)

Where did you watch it? I thought it was shit tbf and a few of the teengers in the cinema walked out half way through.

I watched at the vue in Swansea and there was a great atmosphere for a saturday afternoon showing ( had to be early as we took the kids 4 & 7).

sorry just realised my profile no longer shows where I am so Ive amended it now.

Thought it was average at best. Not a huge Simpsons fan but there were some funny moments. Everyone else seemed to laugh hysterically at things that weren't the slightest bit funny though and it was far too predictable.

You know you're in for a shit time at the cinema when people start guffawing at the ads they've seen on telly about 100 times I find. That's exactly the sort of crowd I imagine attending a film like this.
