Chish and Fips

Took Mrs hips to The Waterford Arms in Seaton Sluice for lunch yesterday. I had a haddock and chips which the fish was canny big and there was a generous portion of chips. However, it was about £7.50 for the pleasure

We occasionally go to Kristians on the fish quay which is usually nice. (I can't recall the price)

Anyone recommend anywhere for a good sit-down fish dinner??

Oh fucking hell I can't quote anymore, maybe I should resign. ;)

Nar, just start eating fish and chips - good for the brain :unsure:

The closest I will go to fish & chips is a tuna jacket potato. Does that count?

That's like comparing Vaux beer with S&N - it's just plain WRONG!

The factory I work in is going to start producing Birds Eye "Chippy" battered Cod in a couple of months, I predict lots of online sampling !

Surely it cant just be me who cringes at the thought of where the batter comes from, knowing our Jimbo's propensity for 'enjoying himself' ???
