Brilliant day, but the highlight had to be when the fans started chanting for "Nobby Solano", and Souness took a couple of steps behind Shepherd so he couldn't see him, before egging the crowd on to sing-up.  :rolleyes:

'Michael was my first choice. I put his name at the top of the list of players I wanted and handed it to the chairman who then fell off his chair.'

 

Surely we would have felt the effects of that for miles around?
