Michel Salgado (out of contract and reportedly out of favour at the Bernabeau) Andrea Barzagli (solid if unassuming defender) Nicky Shorey (Shirley we can offer a better chance of long term high standard football than Reading?) Next Redondo etc. Pulls the strings from midfield and almost everything comes through him despite his relatively young age. Anyone know where Roberto Carlos is off to?(not suggesting here btw!) edit : from wiki - He was supposed to join the Turkish giants Fenerbahce for the 2007-2008 season but this was cancelled by Fenerbahce.
