Not so much a class as a terrible affliction.

Just as well cos that's all you'll be left with by your late 20s. ;)

And I still won't be ginger.

see you deny your illness... and as we all know denial is the first sign of guilt.

Gol, is there any chance of a "GINGA" smiley... I've a feeling we might need one.

A bit of both.

My Dad was brought up in Seghill (next to Seaton Deleval) and was the son of a Miner. He left school at 15, did an apprenticeship and worked as a turner on the laiths at Parsons. Then went on to work in the Shipyards at Swan Hunters. After he got finished at Swans, he became a White Van Man. That's pretty much working class.

My Mam's side of the family are middle class. After he got out of the Navy, my Grandad was a high-ish civil servant working for the Port Authorities. Big House and garden etc, and my Mam was educated at an independent Grammar school. She's a teacher, which is a fairly middle class/professional job.

And I was brought up in Heaton, which is a fairly mixed working/middle class area.

I think I have values from both, but I don't feel I'm truely either. I'm in some sort of limbo between the two.
