A lot of very good acting, not just from Ledger but Eckhart and Oldman too I thought were superb. Loved the ending too, finally a superhero film with some balls. I'm in that God awful position of always wanting to see it, not wanting the hype to raise my expectations beyond reason. Exactly the same happened when X-Men came out and it kind of spoiled it a little. However, I can't stay away from threads from that talk about the film. I'm a fool unto myself. I was really looking forward to it and had convinced myself it couldn't be as good as the hype and on that basis I wasn't disapointed. Still very good and I thought Eckhart gave the best performance if I'm honest (possibly as I hadn't rated him at all before hand). I did think Maggie G was a bit misscast like. Don't think it should have been a 12A as my viewing was kind of influenced by whimpering 8yr olds. 2J, You think the Tattooed Prisoner was important beyond his part in that scene?
