There is actually a boom bust cycle with them - someone made up a graph and it is generally quite accurate but people did have to suffer all summer listening to Spurs fans brag about 'Tactical Genius' Ramos, their signings and how they were going to break the top four and wouldn't be happy ''unless they won a cup''.
