We wouldn't even let the Americans talk to them. The cia and nsa were totally down with the Bosnia and Kosovo thing even to the point of flying in C15 full of arms and equipment. Half of Bin Laden's men in Afganistan had satellite phones given to them by....Yes you guessed it. They are going to make a lot of mileage on this that's for sure. The EU needs to get some kind of rapid reaction force and pile in to these situations and shoot anything that moves. Israel has a good airforce etc but would be no match for a state of the art EU crew with the very latest gizmos. The American product always slightly out of date that goes to Israel ain't in the same league as the Eurofighter etc...Get some Germans into Palestine. You'd think they'd go a bit less open though (especially if they though Israel would target them); they get bombed everywhere, Iraq, Afghanistan, somewhere in Africa fairly recently too. Maybe but I'd have thought it would strengthen the likelihood of a security council resolution, not lessen it.
