Great pic, who's the opposition though? Don't recognize the shirt, is it a Brighton badge?

Aye Brighton, I was at that game and the strip was a bit laughed at.

Agreed - looked pink from any sort of distance. They had the last laugh though IIRC as they won.

Must've been 89? Divi 2, pre bar code strip...

Definitely 89-90, can't say for sure the score but think Craig's right, 0-1 if the brain's still functioning?

During the divi 2 run in that ended with that wish should not be named but did us more good than harm in the long run...

Was at this a couple of weeks later in  the home end 😱

I think a young @Howmanheyman was lucky enough to get a ticket in the away section .. Quinn was playing on one leg, Scotty scored after 10 mins which is a fuckin long time to keep quiet 😆

Must've been the season KK took over they beat us, sure they had a similar strip? Think it was one of the games in a bad run after KK's good start where we went to shit?

Yeah, apologies, you're right. I was getting mixed up with the game 2 seasons later where they wore an equally garish kit....

The game where Dillon put the icing on his season's cake by running from the half way line all on his lonesome then ran straight towards the keeper before forgetting to either round him or chip him or touch the ball away before trying to get a free kick/pen/sending off. Went to quite a few away games that year but missed the very few victories until this one where I really didn't fancy our chances after bull put four away at SJP on NYD. When the useless mackem bastard fluffed that chance to make it two and seal the win I feared the worst but we improbably held on for the win.

I remember him going on a run in one game towards the Gallowgate, one on one with a keeper and promptly sticking his laces through it and it soaring high over the top of the gallowgate terrace. Fuck me he was useless!

He seemed to get at least one good to decent chance a game, I've no idea how he didn't put any of them away?

He did the same right in front of us at Barnsley that season and the entire away end fucking annihilated him

Me too, only thing I remember about it is a load of Edinburgh lads around us, a policeman saying to one of us 'cant take banner t'match' and us doing impressions of him all day, and Quinny equalising in a shit game where an ex-smoggie scored called Curry. Oh aye, how could I forget? Was on the terrace early and saw a rusty wheelbarrow full of pies in it being wheeled across the the away end towards a hut/kiosk. (I gave them a miss tbh).

Fucking hell I'm glad I arrived too late to witness the pies. The coach got held up by the police as we were coming into Barnsley IIRC. The ground was marginally better than Hull's shit hole - remember standing there freezing to fucking death in the FAC 3rd Round.
