Has Decka ever prasied the fans?

I don't need smoke blown up my arse at all, but I feel nothing but contempt from this fucker.

I'd be genuinely interested to read any praise he's given to the fans for what they've done. Not just the generic "greatest fans in the world...nothing like a rocking St James'" but actual praise for something specifically that's impressed him.

This is sparked off the back of reading the BBC report on our finances which revealed that despite relegation, gates receipts actually INCREASED. Pretty impressive, even with the extra games in the lower league... to get more people through the gates paying more than we did in the top flight. Has that ever happened before?

What did Decka think of it?

"It has been a significant achievement to keep our overall loss at a level similar to the year before despite the impact of relegation, and our ability to do this has been helped immeasurably by the continued financial support of Mike Ashley, who injected a further £42m into the club last year interest-free.

Twat.

Look forward to being bombed out with loads of examples

"You have packed out St James’ on numerous occasions this term and from our very first game of the season down at West Brom, have helped create an unbelievable atmosphere in every game we’ve played in.

"That support has undoubtedly rubbed off on the players and go them through som very tough fixtures.

"I’d like to say a big thank you for your incredible backing this season."

Those quotes were from L'Equipe; Lambiass later stated that they were mistranslated and taken out of context. What he actually meant to say (in reference to the fans) was, "YOU'RE ALL FUCKING CUNTS, I HOPE YOU ALL DIE IN POVERTY, AND YOU WILL IF YOU SIGN UP FOR THIS NEW 3 YEAR SEASON TICKET. YOU FUCKING MUGS."

Didn't he say he thought the Cockney Mafia Flag showed a lot of effort had been put in which was what had made the twat smile?

"The one thing about fans is that they chant some great stuff. They are funny and they are so quick. When I saw that banner, I had a wry smile. I knew they had gone a long way to do that. I thought 'that's their statement' so I had a wry smile. People said I was being smug - I wasn't. I thought they'd gone out of their way to do it. I have heard the chants as well, some of it's very funny. I have a sense of humour and they aren't being spiteful so I can understand it. I can understand their passion. There is so much passion here and you have to appreciate that."

He's full of praise.

As I've said before, I don't like the current ownership one bit but it'd go a hell of a way to improving my opinion of them if the got rid of Llambias, I think I despise him more than Ashley in a way.

Agreed. Mort was nowhere near as punchable as that pointy prick.

I know things evidently weren't right behind the scenes when Mort was chairman but it's no coincidence IMO that the wheels fell off massively right about the time he was replaced by Llambias.

Indeed, I wonder how much of Ashley's future planning Mort was privvy to.

I got the impression Mort did things like transfers and wages in a "standard" football way which Ashley has now decided was wrong and that he and the club were taken for a ride so he brings in someone who he trusts - though obviously not knowing anything about football - to run the business his way.

A massive difference between the two IMO was that Mort was personable - would make a point of reaching out to the fans, made them feel like the most important aspect. Llambias concentrates on 'how wonderful Mike is' and 'people should be grateful'.

Fuck off Dekka.

Mort was actually the reason why I thought so early on that Ashley was a wanker who knew nothing about football and would drag the club downwards accordingly.

West Ham chief Brady has pop at Newcastle counterpart Llambias

West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has had a pop at Newcastle United managing director Derek Llambias.

Discussing Toon owner Mike Ashley, Brady wrote in her diary for The Sun: "I can't let one comment from his chief executive Derek Llambias go quietly.

"Rubbing his boss with the embrocation of gross flattery, he says: 'Quite honestly, Newcastle United would not be here without him.' Quite honestly, that's rubbish. The club is bigger than him, just as West Ham is bigger than us all.

"Newcastle United will exist when Mike Ashley has gone to the great casino in the sky."

He certainly had better people skills.

Pointy is like a bad guy from a film.

Llambias comes from a casino background where no doubt they laugh at the punters. Is it any wonder he treats NUFC fans like mugs too?

I still find it hard to believe our MD had no experience with running a football club. It's a unique business and I don't understand why running a casino qualifies you to run any football club, let alone the toon.
