Gemmill 62994
I got bored with Mass Effect 1. Might go back to it at some point but I binned it for the OG XBOX 360 Dragon Age Origins.  Good stuff so far. The combat is a fucking mess like but that'll get better as you go through the series.
Andrew 7457
I love the dragon age series (up to the latest one which was crap) a remake of DAO would be an instant buy for me, its aged kinda badly but its the best game in the series for its time. They could make casual a bit harder though cos I'm just walking through everything now.  That's a shame that the latest one was shit.  I'd say you'd def enjoy Avowed if you like this though.
Rayvin 8308
I tried to go back to DAO a while ago because I do love those games but I don't know if it was just the steam port or what, but it felt like literally stepping back in time to an ancient age of gaming (2009 release but felt older). It looked really dated and I just couldn't get away with it. I mean I still revisit Skyrim from time to time which was 2012. Mass Effect 1 is 2007 ffs. But I find myself skipping through the talky bits a lot less than I normally do and I don't know if I'm just telling myself the storytelling is better cos the game looks so shit, or if it actually is.  I'm enjoying it now it's on casual though. Walking into every room with my big fucking dwarf balls in a wheelbarrow and kicking fuck out of everyone.
Rayvin 8308
Story was always good, some elements of those games I loved. The deep roads and associated lore were awesome, loved that.

Gemmill 62994
Finished Dragon Age Origins. Great stuff.  I assume we all took the opportunity to impregnate Morrigan at the end. If you didn't, I don't want to hear from you.

Gemmill 62994
I've started Dragon Age 2 and Morrigan's mother has turned up looking like a total GILF. I'm hoping there's a way for me to hump her as well. Edited September 29 by Gemmill

You've managed to force through?

You've managed to force through?  No I'm talking about the XBOX 360 game Dragon Age II which is on Game Pass. I haven't done any of the DLC.  I was able to do the thing where you load your old saved game from DA Origins into DAII though, which means all my choices in the first game are factored into what's happening, which is canny.  Graphically and on the combat, 2 is a massive step up on 1. As is the map, so you've got a much better idea of what quest is in which location. Also all the codex stuff loads directly on screen so you don't have to go digging through your journal to find the document you just picked up.  Not sure yet if the actual game will be any good, but it's started out OK. And we're still in the era of gaming where all the lasses have got enormous tits and cleavage. Even your own mam in this latest one.

Andrew 7457
DA2 was very good but rushed out, so it ended up a little sparse on different areas etc. Â Â

Ayatollah Hermione 17231
The MGS 3 remake is great. Very faithful but the movement feels some degrees worse with some dodgy animation priority. Still, you can throw hornets nests at enemies and wear a crocodile hat to blend in to swamps so 8.5/10.

Monkeys Fist 50627
I’ve started The Last of Us 2 this weekend.  I’ve got to Seattle, and done the first open play area, then navigated the first tunnel section and I’m at the theatre.  Really enjoying it so far, which is no surprise since I loved the first one.  Combat is still as stressful as the first one ( in the first one, combat was something you really avoided if at all possible, whereas this one seems to force it on you, but that might just be me still playing like a merc from Cyberpunk ).  As in the first, the scenery and tiny details are amazing.  Once I’ve done this, I’m treating myself to Ghost of Yotei which has just come out.
