I'm not too arsed about getting a new crest I just hope it looks decent which I have a few doubts about. People are allowed to have an interest in it tbh.

It’s changed twice that I can remember and I don’t remember being bothered either way either time….the biggest thing about our kit I remember was something that basically sort of made me go to my first game; pre season 80/81, we were chatting about kits and I said to the village Newcastle fan (something like..)

“No we’re Umbro now ya cunt, it’s got a muckle blue star oan it, it’s fuckin ace”

A few months later Neil and his dad took me to my first game so I could see for myself. There’s no doubt in my mind that the first Umbro kit with the S&N blue star is the greatest kit of the early 80s ie when shirt sponsorship first started in England

I remember talking to an Irish kid who swore we used to have a mad shirt with the 'no smoking' sign on it. After I stopped laughing I pointed out that it was West Bromwich Albion who had that one.

Do they get a vote on a choice of badges at the end, or just an offering of views in the early stages? 

 

I'm pretty sure they'll come up with something that's fine either way. I can't imagine being violently opposed to a badge.
