As is alluded to it provides possible explanation for injuries. Their whole counter-attacking ethos was based on Hudson-Odoi, Gibbs-White and predominately, Elanga sprinting like fuck. You're right to call out that Leicester did it with better players but there seems to be a general view (especially from the Sky Sports lot) that low possession is a bad thing. Surely winning games where your players aren't having to put in the miles / sprint continuously is a good thing? Certainly reduces the injury risk.
