Happy Face 29
Well, on the scale from lowest (Japan and Iceland - 0.5 murders per 100,000 people per year) to highest (USA - 5.5), we're at the right end (1.6).

Footsoldier 0
Not sure that I believe your stats. happy face. Columbia and South Africa's murder rates are about ten times higher than the States who are nowhere near the leading country so I' find it strange that you'd single them out. Unless of course you just want the usual suspects to jump on the US as is fashionable these days.

Some developed countries have murder rates higher than the US with Belgium at a per capita murder rate of 9.1. USA is just one of the highest, and most gun crime discussions come back to legality and availability of arms, America being the prime example of having the right to bear arms. bobbyshinton 59
Me first one today. A person from an ethnic minority gets pounced on, is held down, slashed with a knife then stabbed in the neck. Do you think the gang would still be around to murder the victim some months later? It's a fucking disgrace. The police should be investigated and punished
