After having had to listen to this on/off transfer borefest all close season, I sincerely hope he's a massive disappointment.

So there you go.

Will he even get a game ?

;)

From what I saw of him he's a great signing for Chelsea (massively over-priced though). Chelsea are letting Jarosik go on loan to Birmingham for a season anyway.

Essien - Makelele - Lampard

That'll be the main three all season.

He's finally signed, but I still expect Sky and the papers to wring at least a couple more days out of it with press conference quotes etc. Do they not even get bored of this sort of thing themselves?

I'm a fan of the fact that they've paid 15 million pound higher than their initial bid of 11m. Fair enough, they've got the money and it's clearly no object but they're still paying way over the odds for people. Just a shame we don't have a player they want that we could take the piss out of them with.

And to think we turned down a £25m bid for Kieron Dyer from them ;)

Ballack will NOT be a flop.  You heard that here first too.

And if they do sign Shevchecko, I think he'll do well for them

I agree with that Gemmill he's one of the best players in the world, better player than Lampard

Lampard's not even the best player in his position for England. FACTADOODLEDOO
