  1. Friends used to be a part of essential Friday night viewing, TOTP, Bottom, Friends, The Word, TFI, Red Dwarf, Eurotrash, fantasy league. No doubt many others I’m missing, What a time to be alive.
  2. I’ll copy and paste that at Half time on Wed.
  3. Standard Man U performance this season. Absolutely outclassed but will somehow manage to get something out of this.
  4. Kobel gone off injured 26 mins into E. Frankfurt game. Dortmund currently 2-0 down.
  5. Rematch with Ngannou on the cards. I’m surprised the Cameroonian didn’t kick up a fuss about dodgy score cards to align this.
  6. I said close to. 😉 I’d look at left back personally. He does need an upgrade (along with a lot of others) if we are to progress but he got a new contract at the end of last season so he is here to stay. I just find the criticism a bit unwarranted. Personally, he would be one of the last players I’d have a go at from yesterdays display.
  7. Schar has been player of the season so far. Absolute Rolls Royce this season. Trippier is well ahead of Gordon as well. My point is that Almiron is getting unnecessarily picked on now. He links up superbly on the right with Bruno, Trippier and Longy. And he inverts cleverly so Trippier (best crossers of the ball we’ve had in history) can overlap and whip the ball in. It works really well. The fact of the matter is we have about 3 or 4 elite players in the team. The rest are replaceable. Including Gordon.
  8. He crossed a beauty with his right foot yesterday. Just for reference; Your new obsession with Miggy is close to LTAs with Gordon. Miggy was much better than Gordon yesterday. Both offensively & defensively.
  9. They were absolutely blowing it out of their arses yesterday. Gordon and Trippier looked burnt out from the first whistle. Even longstaff was a goner in the second half. We managed to get a second wind in the last 15 but that seemed to be due to Neto going off. They had us the balls up until then. Big decision for Eddie. I think he has no choice but to make as many changes as possible for Man Utd
  10. I think they both have elements of it. They are both dribblers. I liked Maxi and he would have a been a good impact sub for us but he never fitted into Eddies press, so it was best for all concerned he moved on. Wingers are notoriously hot and cold. I genuinely don’t think there is much between all for them. They are all good options but none are elite level. When Barnes is fully fit and intune with the system then I’d play him as he guarantees 10+ goals. I’d probably go Gordon on the right to supply the bullets but all can be interchanged. Miggy was good v dortmund and good last night. He literally ran his legs off for the team last night. I have nothing but respect for what he does for NUFC.
  11. I didn’t watch fight last night but I wonder if Fury thought it would be easier (eg not preparing and then not trying to knock him out early as it needs to be a spectacle to promote these crossovers)
  12. He’ll have pissed his pants during the game, then shitting his pants watching this.
  13. We might as well just enjoy this season. It’s been amazing so far. Top 4 is already nailed on for me. We’ll have to battle with Villa/Brighton/Man Utd for 5th and hope that gets us back in CL.
  14. Pope Tino-Jamal-Dummett-Targett ——-Longy-miley-willock gordon/Miggy—————-Big Joe ————— Callum Maybe Matt Ritchie ?
  15. In positive news Schar was fucking immense today. Willock also got some more minutes under his belt.
  16. Disappointed we didn’t get some subs on. As Alex said we’ve got £80m worth of talent in Tino and Hall on the bench which he doesn’t seem to trust.
  17. Tell me about it. I’m undefeated. 1 game, 1 draw v Chelsea away and I still got it stolen from me.
  18. We need a spreadsheet of poster scores to evaluate our next thread starter, after todays defeat.
