Nah. It’s spot on. The energy needed to chase down a top technical team like Barca requires insane effort. To evolve we’ll need to be more technical in the future. We cant play 3 games a week at that intensity. We’ve got Bournemouth next who are kings of intensity so it’ll be a really tough game.

I think he’ll get more time but their recruitment hasn’t been upto it this summer.

It looks like Thiaw is pacy and powerful so it’ll be interesting if it adds an extra dimension to us. He played a few nice mid-range passes as well.

I’d play Botman. I think him and Thiaw will make a very good partnership. Trippier can’t make 90 minutes these days so I’d expect Hall to come in. I’d leave Barnes out and bring him on if he we need a goal. The wingers and CMs need to start chipping in with goals.
