Erik ten HAAG-kaloogies vs, Eddie's United Camping Bastards

I'll caveat that with; I am a pessimist by nature -
That Lucy Letby trial is bonkers. She doesn't have the face of a murderer but its not looking good for her. Tragic if true (for the kids and parents not her).

When you feel confident and expect a result - thats when NUFC kick you in the nuts. 2-1 to MUFC . -
Barton seems to be a cult hero to the younger generation but was crap to be honest. Watson was better. Don't think there was much difference between Hottiger and Barton either.

To have such a high press and have that record is very impressive. I think we'll get a couple of tonkings this season but that is natural when you play this way. Much funner than trying to win 1-0. -
Tomasson played off Tino quite a bit and still looked shit. He was far too slow on the ball. He may have adapted after a while but struggled to get upto speed in his season here. He was only around 20 though so he could have come good eventually.
-
He might be on a tracker but if his fixed term has come to an end then its possible he has had a big mortgage rise I own a second property out of default really (I had bought my own place decades ago and moved the mrs in when I met her. When she fell pregnant we needed a bigger place quick so we bought one together and I have kept my flat on). I just got an interest only mortgage which landlords tend to have.
-
Aye, he was one of my fav players before that bad injury. Did well in anchor as well. Keegan had a fetish with playing fullbacks in that role. Think Pep does as well. I used to rate Alan Neilson as well. He was clever but was too small to play CB at the top level.
-
Well that would be the ethical thing to do but we don't really live in an ethical world.
-
Its well naughty that landlords are putting prices up. Suppose they might be screwed with the buy-to-rent mortgages.

Eddie's Neonicotinoid Laden Bastards VS. Thomas's Hair Nets

Get the spreadsheet out Fish. You know the answer. -
The signings listed above all MASSIVELY downgraded the quality of our team. They are were all shit. I don't think anyone could back them. Tomasson went on to have a good career but the PL just passed him by at the time. Too physical for him at that age.

I'd say our best midfield is Joe-Shelvey-Bruno. You could rotate Willock in and out depending on the opposition. Longstaff can be the new Jamie McClen and play the odd game whilst continually getting new contracts -
Nah, you can't blame the PLC for terrible signings. Barnes, Rush, Pearce, Pistone, Tomasson etc - All awful.

Thats about a decade old.

People suggesting Murphy should be starting v ManUre need their account deleted. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. -
Dalgleish did the same with keegans team. Just needed a few tweaks but 1 year later and we were a bag shite.

Ive been listening to a lot of Undr The Cosh podcasts. None of his ex-players seem to have anything nice to say about him. Then again Danny Mills says Pardew is the best manager he has ever had.

Great times. Think it went around whole stadium. Got me thinking... Ive been moved three times (NEARLY tears of joy) with NUFC. 1) NUFC 7-1 Leicester - When the WHOLE stadium (that includes the library east stand where I had my season ticket was singing Andy Cole song) 2). NUFC 3-2 Barca. Never seem a performance like Tino put in that night. When the third went in....magic. 3) I think it was Leeds at home and Robbie Elliott got a bad injury. The crowd went around the whole team singing each players name and getting a wave - while he was being treated.

Steve as Alexs number 2? Thats one way of the keeping the pay days coming.
-
Unless we move to some American style draft transfer system then it'll never be fair. I was reading that Manure had spent more money than Man City in recent times as well. Obvs thats swept under the carpet as well.
-
Surely no other club will touch him now. End of the road for Stevie. Having said that the press will probably but him up for the England job after the World Cup
-
If we swapped strikers (wilson for Harland) where would we finish? Id probably say second or third. He is that good.
-
That's how much of a stroll it is for Man City Fans. 😀 Brings his daughter to see Haaland score and being disappointed at 3-0.
-
Aye, they'll definitely Arsenal-it-up at some point.
