Cabaye definitely doesnt seem to be showing the same application as last season. Same could be said for Cisse.

4/10 of player. -
Its only about 1hr drive when you get through the chunnel (if you want to drive all the way).
-
I still fancy them to go down. At home they wont be able to break teams down.
-
I'd also love to see Ben Arfa behind a striker but that means we'd have to realistically play Obertan which is a big no-no.

The long ball drives me mad. Krul HOOOOOFFFF. We have the players to play possession football but its all a bit straight lines, formation wise. It works well when defending but having any sort of fluidity with a rigid 4-4-2 wont happen. Pardiola tried to change that in the second half but it backfired as we hardly had any width. I'd probably be inclined to drop one of the Dembas next game and get Marveux in the team. He rarely loses possession and offers some natural width.

+!. Cracking bod but i could walk down Northumberland high street and spot 5 fitter birds. No problem. -
Hooooooooof.

Not sure what Pardiola is going formation-wise here. No width. Just long punts.

Anything over a 10 yard pass and Anita blazes it wildly.

Do we have the wingers to play 4-4-2?
Holden McGroin replied to Lake Bells tits's topic in Newcastle Forum
He is doing it because thats CTs nature. Against the grain at every opportunity. The sad thing is he actually starts believing some of the wind-ups he goes on. -

The team Pardew put out was a necessity really. I suspect Shola would have played instead of Cisse as well - if fit. That would have meant 11 changes from that side to Chelsea. Im quite impressed with our squad depth. Its certainly getting stronger. -
Tremendous rack.

I dont think it should be expected at all to be honest. He should have positioned himself better after the 2nd time it happened. 3rd was a goal. he did seem to get his act together in the 2nd half though. Maybe pards told him how to handle him. Looked decent on the ball though. -

Obertan is awful. I'd be embarrassed by playing some of the passes he has(nt) made tonight. -

When is it acceptable for a bloke to cry?
Holden McGroin replied to BigWalrus's topic in General Chat
I've never cried when any of our dogs died. i left that to my mother. I have to admit I had a tear in my eye just before kick off at the 7-1 Leicester game. The atmosphere was amazing. I think that may have been complete surprise that the East Stand was rocking though. -

I quite liked the idea of Cabin in the Woods. As LBT said though it could have done with a little "less" at the end. Insidious started well but was ruined by final third.
