Have we written every player off already this season even though it was against the mighty Man U?!?! I cant think of anyone that has escaped the wrath. -
I suppose it depends on how old you are and what you want from a night. I used to love the Bigg Market when i was 17-20. Quayside after that. I left the toon before The Gate opened but i havent been that impressed with it on the odd occasion I have visited. These days. if I say "Its too loud to talk in here" then im in the wrong place!

Young v Perch makes my bottom squeak. -
He isn't like. He's a weak link in a crucial position imo. He'll be far more exposed this season too. I dont think he is a weak link. Carson and Kirkland were the REAL weak links this week. I personally think he is solid enough. Krul has looked erratic to me so far and thats not something you can rely on in the PL.

Looks decent. Whether or not he can make the step up is the question.
-
Yeah, he basically said both played well but Mike actually DID play well .
-
Maybe he was banned?

The funniest posters are Manc-mag, Gemmill and Monkeys Fist. Dr Kenneth can also be funny occasionally ! Parky is interesting for his scaremongering. Happy Face is the boards film critic Wacky is Billy Bremner Rob W is Walter Mitty

I clearly need to post more in order to get some recognition around here

Parky is the biggest gloom merchant on here! Although, he does look at the world ending in quite good light !

Harper is the least of our problems to be honest.

It was top of the thread list. They must have dragged it up.
-
Ahh yes. Interesting how they changed their mind.

Ashley Young will rip Perch a new one.

Arsenal reserves bummed us a couple of years ago.

Beardo was always flinging himself around. He made some shockers by being a bit over exuberant
-
Andy Carroll had his big chance, and blew it.

Winter has his head screwed on: Some of his twitter quotes yesterday: -
I concur. Stick in Ben Arfa, a defensive midfielder, Saylor (or even Simpson if that is Perch's true ability) at RB and it looks quite promising
-
I was pleasantly surprised how well we did to be honest. There is a lot of hope there. With a few additions I think we could go on a decent run.
-
We shouldnt be scared to put it into touch in games like this. The last goal was a lovely cross and finish but Enrique was caught fannying on with the ball in his corner.
-
In his defense there was a LOT of space down our right for them to exploit. He was pulled in too narrow a lot of the time though, contributing to that. Needs to close the space on the right out better but needs more communication from our central defenders. Despite him not having a great game he still effectively shut down Valencia. PL definitely not too much of a step for him, but there's only so much a left back can do. I don't think you can blame the CBs for is ineptness. I think he is a league out of his depth. Possibly 2. I hope i'm wrong. Enrique looked a shadow of the player last year. We were playing one of the best teams in the world so I wont cast judgment too much.
