I was going to use the old ‘Water Cooler’ but then I thought I’d open it up to the posher officers. I used to have hot, cold or sparkling on tap. It would reduce gossip time because of no kettle boiling.

I think he mistakenly posted his gossip based grievance to a Newcastle forum rather than a Teams Chat. These things always used to happen around the water dispenser. I blame Covid.

Just a bit more detail. This is my second property. I bought it solely in my 20s. When I got with my mrs we bought a property together (which we won’t pay off until I’m about 60+ at current trajectory) and I rented this one out. I don’t particularly like being a landlord and the last pair treated it like a student house so I’ve binned them off while i sell it. So I have no income from rent. It’s been on the market a couple of months now but I’m expecting more interest as I’ve just dropped the asking price £10k inline with interest cut. im getting married next year so it’ll be hers anyway soon so it may just go towards paying off current mortgage.

Property selling advice. Im selling a house for the first time. It was listed at offers over £X but a cash buyer/investor has come in £40k under that price. I want to a deal and don't want to scare them off, but what's the etiquette here? Do I just downright refuse or do I say £X-£10k in hope that he comes back in with a higher counter offer?

Aye, you always leave for a reason. It's very similar to relationships. As the years pass you remember certain things fondly but at the end of the day you can just have a wank in the shower over the time she gave you that mind-blowing rusty trombone and carry on with your life. Onwards and upwards. Never look back.

Wasn't that two seasons ago? I think Burn (then Hall towards of the second season) the end took over the left back spot over.

Alien is a great suspense horror. Aliens is still the blueprint for great action movie. The new Alien Romulus movie looks like it’s following these two but I we’ll see. The original three Star Wars were great movies. The majority of movies that followed never reached those heights - bar Rogue One. i think they’ve made some decent Tv series. Mandalorian was excellent along with Andor. The rest are watchable bar Obi Wan and Acolyte. There was actually one good episode in Acolyte. The rest was terrible.

I would have a put a lot of money on that
