  1. He is a good player, cant see us getting him tho tbh, unless he doesnt want the hassle of moving house!
  2. Not the best of colours, something a bit different though i suppose.
  3. There have got to be better teams than Hull after Owen tbf, i dont think he is that desperate yet!
  4. Yep and my club matters to me and i dont think you are any bigger deal than us atm and no i cant................................
  5. We wouldnt look out of place in the top half of the table imo. We have a good manager, a quality stadium, a huge following and if we get the right players in, then like i said earlier, the future is bright. Your club on other hand.................................. The reason your on the back pages as much as you are is becuase of the simple fact that your club is in such a state atm, the majority of stories are mainly about who will take you over, will Shearer be manager and which players will be staying/going. Exiting stuff! if thats anything to be proud of then im happy for you. Your Friendly Mackem mask is slipping mate. You can't say anything we don't already know, all you are doing here is trying to rub our noses in it. It'll end in tears. Shall we do attendances yet? What are you doing here? Im not trying to rub anyones nose in it mate, im just having my say as a Sunderland Supporter. I was quite happy leaving it as it was with my first post, but for some of you to come back and say we are obsessed with your club and how big you think your club is, then i thought id say something, thats what a forum is for isnt it? God I can't beleive I'm getting drawn into this but fuck it, it's Friday after all... No, no-one thinks that. That would be fucking ridiculous. Totally agree and you have hit the nail on the head. It is rather tedious, but there are still a lot of the people who follow the same football club as you continuing to revel in our demise. Fair play to them, but you are effectively agreeing that it is pathetic. Like yoursefl I imagine, I just couldn't be arsed, but there are probably a number of people who follow the same team as me who could be arsed if the roles were reversed. Sad all of it really, given our obvious similarities outside of which fucking terrible team we follow. Is it just banter? I suppose it is, maybe your lot are keener banterers in our direction? Does that feel better? I won't be drawn into the big club shit, we are fucking rubbish at the minute, you were rubbish very recently. We both have quite a lot of fans and live on a river. Fuck this, I'm off to get smeshed. Have a good weekend all of you. Very True TrophyShy, everything u said was spot on.
  6. It always makes me chortle that whenever I read through the SMB and they get accused of being obsessed their retort is always "Nor, there's loads of threads on Newcastle websites about us!" when on any given day you could struggle to find one thread about the Mackems on either here or N-O. Even when their world is falling down such as when Keane left I think there was one solitary thread on either board It makes me laugh that you lot like to think we care and are obsessed with your club, come off it. I know your up shit creek at present and the best comebacks you have are about bringing up the past and what Newcastle nearly achieved, but f*ck me, you the deluded ones if you really think we care about your club over our own. Do you read the SMB? Because in all seriousness, that is the case over there. I can remember when we lost to Partizan nearly all the threads were about us. Which frankly is not reciprocated on Newcastle boards to anywhere near the same extent. You seem like a decent fan who puts his club first, but there definitely seems to be more bitterness on behalf of the mackems than us. Believe me, i can confirm that the FreindlyMackem 'Mask' as someone called it earlier, is not the case. Im not here to take the piss, cause trouble or laugh at your expense. Im here to have a bit a banter with rival fans, plain and simple.

Exiting stuff! if thats anything to be proud of then im happy for you. If Sunderland would be in a situation like us right now, do you think there would be so many stories? So many stories! The only stories, like ive said, Shearer, Mike Ashley and what players will/stay or go............................ Theres loads of stories about new owners, Shearer and who goes and who stays. But you didn't answer my question, do you think there would be so many of stories like that if you were in the exact same situation? But thats my point, there isnt as many stories as you think there is. To answer your question, if we were managerless, up for sale and needed to sell our quality players, then yes i think there would be stories

  12. Close, Were.........you didnt though did you?
  13. Trouble is mate, your club hasn't the lure of the majority of clubs in your position. We twice gained access to the top tier of English football because of the media created fascia of the club. Our managers at the time could lure the biggest and brightest, we're renowned for our vocal and voracious support, we paid big money and we had history. If you were a southern club I'd say, sure you could kick on from here. If you were a sleeping giant recently awoken from it's slumber I'd agree you had a chance. You're not though. You're sunderland, even the phonetics of your name sound mundane and M.O.R. You might get midtable for a few years, you may even break into Europe randomly, but you'll not live long enough to see the club you love challenge for the title. Granted, it's probable that I won't either. But for your compatriots to call us deluded, then spout their shite... it just sticks in my throat is all. I dont get what your point is with the first paragraph. Thats in the past, im talking about the present and future. I dont know if you have kept track of the Premier League for the past few years, but normally there are four clubs challenging for the title every season, of course i dont expect us to challenge for the title, neither do i expect the likes of Blackburn, Aston Villa, Everton, Fulham, Tottenham, West Ham or the once great Newcastle United either. Thats the plan over the next few years btw. Top Half, Challenge for Europe. I dont expect us to bring home the premier league title any time soon. However if your lot think your club is or was ever in with a chance, then maybe you are deluded...........
  14. Do you really think that every single Sunderland Fan has an obsession with your beloved club? You've had your fun over the years, now its time for us to mock you. I for one, like many other Sunderland Fans, want to concentrate on our club and what the future holds for us rarther than laugh at your demise. I'll admit, i found this all very funny at the end of the season, but now it is rarther tedious.
  15. Cant fight our corner in that one, a yo-yo club we have been. But times have now changed, your in the championship with no owners, no manager, probably very little to spend on transfers next season and a full sqaud who are thrashing your wage bill and the majority of whom want to leave for bigger clubs. Whilsts we are in the Premiership with a New Manager looking to take us forward, A new board who will give us full backing and plenty of money for transfers and a future, that if managed correctly, looks bright.
  16. Green Chilli Chicken Masala, Rice and Garlic Nan, home made, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
  17. Andorra may play the worst football ive ever seen, DEFEND, DEFEND, DEFEND the striker in his own half ffs!
  18. This is true, but I reckon his best quality is his affable nature. Crowd doesn't mind his whimsy or the times he relies on old clichés because he's just quite charming. Re: Gervais, I don't think he's the best stand-up out there by a long way, but he's certainly one of the best writers. The character he rattles off on stage is a brilliant creation too. His strengths are varied, but a favourite of mine is his ability to mime out a scene, playing the various characters without resorting to extremes a la Lee Evans. It's the situation that's absurd, not the people found in it. Perfect example is the fella in the boat chasing the elephants. He doesn't have the boatsman explode with indignation, huge gestures like you'd expect from Evans. but like I say, he's not a great stand up Personally I would say he is one of the best, along with Lee Evans, Jimmy Carr, Bill Bailey, Frankie Boyle, Russell Howard, Al Murrary and i quite liked that Scottish bloke in that vid btw, reminds me a bit of Joe Pasquale for some reason, but a more stern, scottish version lol.
  19. are you a new or existing customer with sky and would you want sky+ or HD?
  20. Gervais is quality, one of the best comedians going atm.
  21. any idea why when i post it posts 2 copys of the same thing? lol
  22. very true, i know keepers are not valued as much as strikers, but Given is worth more than 5 Mil
  23. double post, could have sworn i edited that, nm
  24. 1. Roy Keane left, Sbragia resigned on his own accord as he knew a quality manager was needed to take the club further. 2. Whats wrong with that? 3. Turning down £20M for a player shows how much money and power we have. 20M for any one of your players and there gone. 4. It never was 200M, that was just reported in the press. 5. *Cough* Championship *Cough*
