  1. Nope! Tbh I'm not dying, being sick, passing out etc. I had a stotting headache after and felt pretty spaced out, then the next day just a dull headache and feeling spaced out... today felt less spaced out but still a tiny bit, felt fine apart from that until about 10 mins ago when I started to feel dizzy. I spoke to someone I know who's a nurse and she said there's nothing they'll do if I go to the docs anyway, but obviously if my symptoms got worse I would go anyway
  2. Banged my head really bad on Saturday and pretty much knocked myself out. Been a bit spaced out, ever since but felt a bit more human today. Definately think I had a mild concussion. I'm supposed to be playing footy tomorrow but just had a bit of a dizzy spell that's still not really gone. Should I play footy tomorrow or is there a certain period of time you're supposed to wait?
  3. If anyone has a pic of the youth team playing I'd be very grateful if you let me use it in my next blog article. Same drill as always - please state you took the pic and give me permission to use it, and in return I'll give you full credit for the pic in the article. I'm up against it a bit here as need to sumbit the article before 9am Wednesday, so if anyone can help out i'd be extremely greatful. Cheers Andy
  4. Which in all truth applies to every single player... even Man U sold Ronaldo due to the offer being too good to turn down. Every player has his price and to think otherwise makes no sense.
  5. I like the mono one best, but there's no excuse for not editing out the telephone pole
  6. Good tip thanks Not really ambitious to get in to journalism but you never know I guess, no harm in doing things the right way regardless tho
  7. Hi, cheers for the feedback I meant more you were lucky to still be in the game due to playing so badly and you were lucky Sunderland didn't create more as you's were so poor, but I do see what you mean about how it was worded. Same with the Cattermole, Simpson, Mclean bit... I wasn't sure if it sounded the way you described when I wrote it last night, so you're right that maybe I could have constructed that a little better. I thought it was a good save in all fairness, he had to get low to get it, and got a good hand to it so it was pushed away from danger. A simple penalty save is when it's a good height for the keeper... i didn't think this was a good height at all and he did well to push it away from danger. believe me when I say I used to be a keeper and know how hard it is to push a ball that's on the floor away with any real purchase.
  8. http://thenortheasthub.com/blog/ Please let me know what you think Cheers Andy
  9. Ok so taking on board the comments about my last article being too generalistic I thought I'd do a piece on the top prospects for the big 3 clubs up here. So who's looking promising for the Toon and what type of player are they? Cheers Andy
  10. Took the wife there for her b'day... was decent but not amazing. The venue isn't as nice as the Live Theatre on the Quayside and the comedy was ok but nothing special. Been to all 3 now and can say that depsite the Hyena being a dive it's had by far and away the funniest comedians.
  11. Cheers for the feedback I'll take it on board It's kind of supposed to be a general thing rather than indepth for just one clubs supporters to read, but I get what you's are saying that maybe this is a little too general and although it might be fine for other teams fans to read, I still need to make it in depth enough for the supporters of the club I'm writing about
  12. Steady on I can only have 500 words Wasn't really about what has gone wrong, it was more about saying actually you's are doing pretty well despite a habit of things going badly wrong from time to time, and how the club always seems to come back fighting no matter what
  13. My latest blog article about Newcastle United can now be viewed here: http://thenortheasthub.com/blog/trials-and-tribulations-of-nufc/ I reckon it'll cause a bit of debate so welcome any feedback and chat about it Cheers Andy
  14. Thanks for that, very helpful What's anchor text though?
  15. Cheers mate No Idea what Venture style images are so not sure if that's a compliment or not lol I knew before I even posted them which would be your favourite... tbh that seems to be everyone's favourite but I know your a sucker for mono. I think the family one is ever so slightly over exposed too in all fairness.. Setting up the home studio in someones living leaves the distance and angle of the flashes pretty much predetermined due to the lack of space, so once several people jump in to the shot and they are at different heights it gets a bit tricky to get everything exposed evenly. Maybe I should invest in a black reflector to take some of the light way in parts of the shot? Hadn't thought of that until you mentioned the pic so might go and get one of them Cheers for the feedback, think I'm getting more comfortable with my home studio stuff and I agree these are some of the best I think I've done... also shot these with my 7D and the picture quality is definately more crisp than with my old camera.
  16. As a kid it's usually "pop" I think as you grow older it starts to sound a bit daft (unless asking a kid if they want a drink or pop) and so usually people call it by it's brand name i.e. Coke, Fanta etc
  17. Did a family shoot at the weekend, including my first attempt at photgraphing a baby... here's some pics from the set
