  1. To be fair they'll deserve some credit if we do stay up. To be fair they deserve most of the credit for getting us in the relegation spots to begin with. Yep, obviously they've caused the mess...no argument here. I'm pleasantly surprised that they're doing something about it though, however late. Season ticket sales are down so what was the obvious thing to do?
  2. A Chelsea fan who used to support another club? Well I never.

  4. Good appointment from Shearer's point of view, he'll make Shearer look like a male model in comparison.
  5. It'll be guaranteed to improve the atmosphere in the dressing room.
  6. A desperate ploy to sell season tickets but fuck it, here's hoping it works.

  8. Hhhmmmm, hopefully this will mean that I get paid out on Kinnear to be the next PL manager to leave.
  9. Idiot? If he keeps us up then I don't care what the fuck he is.
  10. Magpies 'turn to Shearer' St James' Park legend could be set to replace Kinnear Sky Sports News understands that Newcastle United are set to appoint Alan Shearer in a managerial capacity for the remainder of the season. Current boss Joe Kinnear is currently recovering from heart surgery and he was due to meet cardiologists next Monday to determine if he is fit to return to the touchline. However, it has been suggested that he could move to a role upstairs, possibly as director of football, and St James' Park legend Shearer could be set to take over. The 18th-placed Magpies are battling Premier League relegation and are desperate for a boost to escape the drop zone.
  11. Of course it's a windup, I think you're all forgetting: Unless the club have been lying to us.
  12. Been to Old Trafford quite a few times when I was in Manchester. Highlights include when Horseface missed that penalty and when Porto knocked them out of the European Cup.
  13. Not many companies would overlook a claim involving adult films though. (I know its not real porn but the point stands) You'd be surprised.
  14. There are still plenty of well-paid private sector employees fiddling their expenses though. It's just the nature of expenses, no matter how much some people are paid they will always try to get that little bit more.
  15. Anyone else suspect that this situation and all the characters included are merely a figment of Parky's paranoid mind?
  16. Give them a set amount they can claim for their 'second homes', dependent on where in the country they are. Then let them try and work within a budget.
  17. I know nowt about how it works, so these are genuine questions, for someone who knows more to answer. In his last 2 years at the club, Shepherd spent £65M. Most of it to foreign clubs. Do the above FA rules or similar apply? If it was all spread over (say) 5 years, we might be about half way through on avarage so it could be as much as £30M still to pay (total finger in the air stuff). If there are rules like the above that cover UEFA, it's not a consideration, but if there aren't, writing off that debt would be a huge incentive for administration. Then there's player contracts. Can they be terminated under administration? Barton 2012 Duff 2011 Smith 2012 Geremi 2010 Those four will have cost the best part of £15m in wages by the time their contracts run down. No club would match those wages or pay a significant fee, not to mention Butt, Ameobi or Xisco. Question is why doesn't MA just pay those debts? His Paper worth is roughly £800m ish even in the current market. I assume we're not paying any interest on those debts, therefore it wouldn't make sense to may them now, unless we got a discount for it.
  18. Surely murder is a mortal sin and would prevent Ben from returning to the island? Well, Sayid has returned and he's murdered a few by all accounts. Something tells me Ben killed Locke because he's a threat to him in some way (or maybe it's jealousy? Locke seems to be connected to the island and plays a big part - Ben doens't like sharing?). Locke had served his purpose, or maybe Ben gussed eh could finished the job Locke started. Problem with this is - Locke knew he was going to die in order to get the others back. Therefore, it must have been scripted (I dont mean by the writers lol) that Locke would die. Presumably Ben was tasked with doing that. I can't help but think that Jack having to get his dad's shoes in the casket will have some significance too. Hopefully more than just Jack's dad needing new shoes lol Questions, questions questions...... Aye, I think Ben just thought that once he'd got the woman's name then he had no further use for Locke and wanted rid of him because he was a threat. I don't think Ben that Locke had to die but it was Locke's fate.
  19. The scene with Ben lying unconscious in the bed occurred after Sun had knocked him out so chances are that some of the other survivors found him and took him to their makeshift hospital.
  20. Henrik Ipsen of SønderjyskE. He's fucking rubbish him.
