Will that adversely affect jail broken phones at all?

Been told by a bookie mate that there's some big money going on Paddy Rielly in the 20.50 at Kempton. Still avaialble at 8/1.
-
Ah, so that's why they invited the local media.

"You're going home, you're going home" Where else was he expected to go?

Didn't the Man U Supporters' Trust have a reasonable sized stake in the club pre-Glazer? It's obviously a lot easier to achieve when the club is a PLC, I can't see Ashley selling a stake to NUSC any time soon.

Couldn't be much worse than the current shower of shit in charge of the first team.

I saw one of them being grilled on GMTV this morning by her with the big knockers. Not sure which of them made themselves look the bigger fool.

According to one of the fanboys of N-O it's the same as a real life statue that is supposed to protect pregnant women. It would explain why they have no problem having kids whenever the statue is intact.

Fair play to him for taking a pay cut to make the deal happens, though obviously this won't do his endorsement values any harm at all.

Surely the fact that they're offering a way out is a good thing? Or alternatively they know fans will cancel direct debits regardless and this is just a way of ensuring they get their discount back.

An issue which can hide all manner of abuses, the same justification can be used to allow spying on anyone at any time, forced use of lie detectors, or even torture (makes the police's job VERY easy ). But that doesn't make any of it right. There's a big difference in holding DNA and what you suggested, they're not comparable. They are completely comparable, the spying one is even already used as such. Lie detectors as such are on the cards, and British intelligence is currently complicit in torture, although they stay far enough away for plausible deniability. So the DNA issue is comparable to torture?

In theory I disagree with DNA details being held on a database for people who haven't been convicted of a crime but in reality it can make the police's job a whole lot easier and therefore make us a little bit safer.

Arrest them before they become criminals I say.

they are accessed through a windows desktop is what i mean. (the actual benefit computer systems, of which there are many, i would imagine are based in a unix environment though im just guessing as im not involved with that side of things). benefits and payrolls and such all tend to use Oracle backends and seem to be farmed out to the likes of Fujitsu to actually run. That being their first mistake.

Yes, if you jailbreak the phone (piece of piss, see elsewhere in this thread) and then download the modem app. Its fast as well, when I had router problems I used the iPhone off my main PC and you couldnt tell the difference. Only problem is you cant charge the phone at the same time (some daft bug) so it drains the battery, maybe 1 hour or so use at a time. I've never had a problem charging it while using it as a modem. I use PDANet to connect, don't know if that makes a difference.

They were out of touch with the fans then and they're out of touch now. They'll only realise the levels of disaffection if the season ticket renewal numbers are way down.

Some people still have a bit of spon... http://www.hindustantimes.com/StoryPage/St...+group+-+report The best people to buy us over in any case would be the oil rich Arabs who haven't been too badly affected by the current economic climate.

The Keegan pay-off is of their own making and the Jonas fee should have been looked into at the time, though £4m could still prove to be a good bit of business.
-
I hope that's in addition to the Milner, Given and N'Zogbia money.

Going to see my first ice hockey game tonight, Basingstoke v Belfast.

The days of a manager coming in and been allowed to spend millions off their own back, I think are long gone from newcastle and many other clubs. It was fun while it lasted but as Gordon would say, prudence is the buzz word these days. Footballers are now relatively just too expensive and too big a risk to a clubs financial stability. The current player pricing is unsubstainable especially with the goings on at city and I'm not sure what comes next. We have been spoilt over the last 15 years and can't get used to the fact that the partys over and it's tidy up time. Rubbish.
