Any one with any sense is now not using Internet Explorer (and probably for years now). However that leaves a lot of people with no sense/that don't know better that are still using Internet Explorer..... still some 75% of the desktop market or so. some users simply dont have the option but to use ie. for example, me as a civil servant at work, even though i know better. Theres zero chance of me at work being able to use an open source browser on an open source os. which is probably the point of the eu's recent action. Surely that was a decision made by your IT department rather than Microsoft?

I was half way through replying there and realised that I don't care enough to bother formulating the argument but I assume you're just going to go into one of your anti-MS rants so please proceed.

Kinnear responds to Barton speculation with his usual eloquence

Oh the irony. -
I'm not sure of the stats but surely more people now are using alternative browsers than in the past? I don't think this is an issue.

I can't work out if NUFC is been run at a loss, or if Ashley is syphoning off cash to bolster other parts of his holding. Probably the latter I guess, especially if we're not even going to have a £12m total spend (which is just the Milner money). Not to mention the money saved from no longer having to finance our debts. The year end figures will make interesting reading. Didnt we establish that there is no legal requirement to make these figures public? A balance sheet at the minimum will still be available from Companies House won't it?

We knew it was coming - Kinnear offered new contract
ewerk replied to Snake's topic in Newcastle Forum
Well what can we do? It hardly seems right to have a go at Kinnear but this appointment just smacks of mediocrity. -

Weren't they the guys who broke the takeover story? Could be a good source.

Ambition requires money, it's not like we have money lying around from player sales or season ticket sales... oh wait.

He could also cover on the right hand side of the midfield at a push.

It's like a foreign language, it really is.

Surprise, surprise.. Stephane Mbia is going nowhere
ewerk replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
That just proves that money talks, we won't be offering the sort of money needed to twist their arm. -

Well I for one am shocked. -
Fat Sam still in denial. Edit: Just noticed Sky forgetting that the game is actually at Ewood.

So basically none of the players we've bid for are Kinnear's targets? So much for having control of transfer policy.

Ashley to address fans at end of transfer window
ewerk replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Isn't that what Kinnear does? -
NUFC lie about Lucas Neill approach according to the Hammers
ewerk replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Why would they say that? Just more fucking lies. I don't blame JKF, I reckon Wise has been filling him full of shit, just like they did to Keegan. -
Kinnear again.

Ashley to address fans at end of transfer window

What should they be saying right now? Best to hang fire until the end of the transfer window imo and judge how things are then. -

"I was always prepared to bank roll Newcastle up to the tune of £20 million per year but no more." Aye, well that's assuming we were making a loss. -
