5 Non Newcastle things that would make me happy this season
ewerk replied to a topic in Newcastle Forum
No obsession... just honesty. Trust me Danny, the hatred for Spurs on here has run a hell a lot longer than the time you've been a member. We don't hate NUFC though, you are not even on the radar. I dont get it. Arsenal? yes, West ham? kind of, Chelsea? meh, Newcastle? Who? Yet after nearly 2000 posts you're still here. -

I'm assuming the irony was intentional there. -
Christ I didn't realise that she was 14 FFS, there really is a problem if she'd be freaked out by an Asian at that age.

Aye but then we'd have to listen to the scousers go on for an entire season about how they're the champions, I can't believe that anyone would want that. Edit: Whatever happened to our resident scouse/American/Swiss WUM? -

She should've just asked for a female driver and the whole incident could have been avoided.

Do they really bother you in any case?

The reward for finding Shannon Matthews: £0.05m The reward for finding Madeline McCann: £2.5m

That's Chezzy economics. The extra cost of paying lip service will be paid for by the price of something no one will likely buy anyway and certainly not for the extortionate price you have to charge to pay for it..... if anyone bought it in the first place. Lettuce from Tesco: 47p Tomatoes from tesco: 66p It's not exactly bank breaking stuff.
-
Yep those maybe the rules, but are they followed? (and I shudder to think how long supermarket prepare salad has been stood as that can be rotting before you get it to the checkout) And the coleslaw and salad cream/dressing? Plus that then all goes back to the cost issue. How do you assure that they have followed the rule for meat preparation? A bit of salad costs fuck all so it's not a cost issue.

Well a lettuce and tomato sandwich with 3 day left overs not a lot (the bigger issue being as it won't have been fried to within an inch of it's life you'll be taking your life in your hands eating it), but anything half decent given that Tesco can sell it pre-bagged at a significantly higher cost per gram than fillet steak, probably quite a lot tbh. What are you on about? That trying to pay lip-service with either kill some one or cost them a fair bit. It'll do neither but it's no surprise to see you going out of your way to take the opposing view.

Caught the last half hour, seemed fairly decent though it's the sort of thing that would obviously need to be watched in full.

Aye my complete tripe that there's a universal flu vaccine being developed for his example of flu. I'm glad you think that's my "tripe" though, because it just shows what ridiculously high standards everything else I say must be. I was referring to your general tripe before you start. Too late, I already won. That's the thing though, it's supposed to be about having an exchange of views. You turn everything into a 'me against the board' type argument and end up making yourself look like a tit. But I guess you just enjoy the attention.

He managed to avoid relegation with Wigan last year and has had an unconvincing season so far. If that's the standard we're going for then Phil Brown is a better candidate.

The head numbing pain of modern life? Modern life is a lot easier than life in the past in my uninformed opinion. It's just that people can afford more alcohol and have less self-control.

Apart from Stevie of course.

Try this one, it works for me, obviously edit it to suit.

So it'll be chicken nuggets, Coca-Cola and the X-Factor all round then. Fucking loonie. Then again it wouldn't be the first time that malicious rumours have been leaked out in the middle of a messy divorce and custody battle.

You mean something that most clubs have? Hardly. Not many clubs who don't have endless funds trust the manager to spend heavily. But to be honest I would settle for something most clubs have rather than an emotionally torturing, dragged out circus of a club performance. I'd say Villa have far from endless funds.

Shearer will only take the job on the condition that there are significant funds for transfers available imo.
